Autistic persons often are pure horror to their human (and even animal) environment because they are good at thinking out of the box. And I asume the reason for this is that they just can't see the box. Great content!

I'm sorry about your aunt, what a crazy story! It has happened to me often that I have been assumed to have some kind of character flaw because of my autistic behaviours (even my own parents treated me that way most of my life). It led to debilitating mental health problems until I was diagnosed and finally able to understand what happened. It feels bad being judged despite trying one's best. I still find it hard to be "on the outside" of society, to always be the one who sees things differently and wonder if I'm crazy or everyone else is.

What happened to your aunt is awful, that's crazy that they're pressing charges! I hope it gets thrown out of court. In Australia we don't have the same system of sobriety testing: they use breathalysers - usually on the spot - and if it's negative, it's negative. (That's not to say that there are no cases of discrimination or bullying etc.)

Hey Christian, have you tried psychedelics? I have and they're very enlightening. btw I'm professionally diagnosed autistic and adhd.

I haven't, but I've read more DMT trip reports than basically anyone alive, I'd wager. I'm very pro-psychedelics, but I haven't partaken myself.

@@Xianomega my world view was massively expanded and I gained insights into emotions that I wasn't even aware of. I'd like to think that one day mdma, lsd and magic mushrooms will be used to help lost people like me.
