Messed around with the original on Steam Deck not long ago and found it pretty fun. This looks great though, so will probably just get and play this version when it drops.

Not sure how I feel about Adam doing less damage overall now, always seemed to fit the absurdity of the game that a literal clown could potentially one shot you. Though it is a preview build so things like boss damage can always be tweaked.

Resident Evil remakes are still in preview build to this day and never got changed. Many of stuffs are missing in those games.

it needs a total reshade. the colors dont pop and everything looks way too gloomy like Resident Evil. The original's style is way more fun, bright and amusing. also the grapefruit really should be a coconut lol.

Is it still Roguelite if there is no RNG maps? I think so because of the permadeath, starting over from beginning, with progression, but some people say Roguelikes and Roguelites must have RNG maps to count.

@@Dopamiin3 They removed plenty of things from the game. Altered dialog, race swapped characters, cut a photography feature, etc. Real question is why you running to their defense? Seems weird, a consumer apologist for a corporation

Just because I called you out on over exaggerating your claim doesn’t mean I agree with everything capcom is doing? You also are leaving out a bunch of the new items and mechanics being added to the game lol. Negativity sells I guess since nobody bothers to measure the positives of a game to see if it’s a good product.
