I used to abuse synthetic cannabinoids like JWH-122 and ADB-FUBINACA, and smoke cannabis heavily. Delta-8 doesn’t get me high. It did maybe the first two times I used delta-8. I use delta8 and HHC a few times a day for stress and anxiety. Again, they do not get me high even at ridiculous doses

Edibles do basically nothing for me but they're pretty cheap like I can pick up a candy on a whim for like $3 at a headshop so I mix em with d9 edibles as a boost.

Tried Delta 8 a month ago and I loved it. It gets me the right amount of high, not too much. Feel very mellow, and better sense of humour, good vibes. I was a bit anxious/ too high the last times I smoked regular weed. Delta 8 hits the sweet spot. No nervousness, no anxiety.

well if you smoke too much regular weed and you’re not used to being high, you’re gonna be slightly anxious. Maybe just limit yourself on delta 9 or regular bud and see how that affects you

In my experience delta-8 is just a completely different high. The way I describe it is delta-9 gives you the typical “head high” while delta-8 soothes and relaxed your body. Interchangeably you can definitely tell the difference which is why I like to mix both

From someone that just tried this for joint pain, its been a life changer. I do edibles only, split 35 mg twice a day about 8 hours apart. the only mental change is clarity, as in my my anxiety is gone and i just think about the task at hand and concentrate better, cause im not worried about next week or next month. It has taken the sharpness away from my joint pain, and before this i had to eat 4 or five ibuprofen every 4 hours just to move around and thats not good. I can at least move around comfortably now without chronic pain. I care nothing about getting high, but its been a lifesaver pain wise. Hope this helps someone else out there.

Delta 8 has really relieved my bi polar disorder. It suppresses my meanness and worthless feeling. It doesn't make me a zombie like delta 9. I can still function and accomplish task.

I use Delta 9 for C.P.T.S.D. and I can tell you even though it's miraculous how well it works I'm sick of how it makes me feel. I'm sick of always being kinda groggy. You can't be like just enjoy the high when it's not even the point of why that person is using it. People with your mind set is why people who don't smoke look at patients like me as people who just want to get high. When in reality I'm just trying to sleep and not see a threat every second of the day that isn't there.

If you need something that’ll get you through certain events like your job or church without getting blasted to Jupiter, Delta 8 is your jam. For me personally, it gives me a mellow body high but my brain is 100% still there. When people called D-8 “weed-light”, that’s a pretty good comparison. If I want to feel really good, I personally mix HHC and THC-V.

I personally love Delta 8. Its made my spending go way down and still gives me the buzz that im looking for minus the parts that bother my anxiety. Honestly the only real problem that I have had is sifting through the drastic amount of companies that make a poor product. So far the best company to get from hands down is 3chi. I have never once had a bad experience with them and they seem to be very transparent with their process and lab results. They also explain the products very clearly on their website.

As someone who takes Delta-8 dabs just about every night, they definitely get you high. Different from standard D9, but definitely is mind altering. Kind of like a Weed-lite or Diet Weed, IMO. Also a whole lot less anxiety

Can I just say it’s so nice that this comment section is so nice and understanding of everyone’s different experience with delta 8 and delta 9 thc. For me it feels like delta 8 is more mild than 9 when taking smaller doses but stronger in larger amounts. Granted I mostly use vaping products so I might not be getting the full experience

In regards to anxiety with Delta 8 and 10, when I'm really high its like I dont know what to say the thoughts aren't there. Compared to Traditional D9 its more like I'm too anxious to speak my thoughts. D8 feels more sedating to me where as D9 makes you more prone to anxiety

Delta 8 hits me like that. When I'm really high it is incredibly hard to have a conversation. Words just don't register they way they do when I'm sober. It does make psychedelic KZbin videos incredibly satisfying to watch though.

I work for a company that manufactures and wholesales D8. It’s mostly synthesized from CBD. If you’re an avid cannabis user it’s not going to do much tbh. It’s really good for people who don’t really want to try weed related products with out wanting the stronger real thing. For me it is better for anxiety since I’m a bit of an all day smoker. I’m going to defiantly hop on your stream one day so we can talk about this

My experience with it is not super great nor horrible, D8 gets you high but as a previously active smoker of regular weed, it WILL leave you wanting. To describe the high, it's like it is missing "something" and you notice that foremost when you settle into a D8 high, it sometimes hits like old creeper weed depending on what you have. Also, back when I first began smoking regular weed I used to get anxiety from creeper because I didn't know my limit, you may get that sort of feeling on D8 since I did a little. The taste is harsh with it but THC-O/THCO is the best hitting because there's practically no harsh hit until you clear it, so you'll know it's cashed. Bottom-line is if you've smoked normal weed before and can get regular weed, then just smoke regular weed (it's probably better for you anyways). You'll test positive with most D8/D9/D10 etc. regardless too, so I suggest finding another way, even if it is simply to tide you over until your next dispensary run. It simply is not worth the expense when disposable vapes and carts go for $30-40 or more AND you get left feeling like you didn't quite get what you hoped you would like normal weed. Just buy an 1/8th or whatever from wherever you normally hunt for weed, if I could smoke regular I probably wouldn't have bothered trying D8 but like many out there, my state government hates weed. I used to buy Delta 8 disposable vapes from my plug, he would get it from a convince store and from my experience I would say that it wasn't that bad of a high. It also is very discreet, easy to hide. Overall it felt like a normal cart high.

Delta 8 in my experience is probably best consumed through an edible if u want to get high. Vaping it is kinda mid-low and felt like a “less healthy” high that only lasts for around 1.5 hours and it leaves me groggy and disconnected the next day. I wouldn’t want to use it regularly.

definitely agree, it feels like the ecig cousin of medical cartridges, and didn't last as long. maybe part of that is because you buy it at the smoke shop. reminds me of when the black market carts were going around a few years back and who knows what was in there. they would hurt your throat more and you'd be hitting em more often than one from a dispensary.

@@drew4b There are companies that sell D8 in bulk for cheap, like $20 for 10g. Cannaclear, Harbor City Hemp, and Delta Alternatives are all good and clean D8 options. I don’t really trust smoke shop carts or even black market carts anymore. I also live in an illegal state so this is the best option to get high me.

2:35-2:50 is inaccurate. They are not metabolized into the same thing. D9 is metabolized into 11-Hydroxy-Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol, and D8 is metabolized into 11-Hydroxy-Delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol. The D8 version is lower in potency analogous to D8 vs D9.

Hey man, I've been subbed for two weeks I think and think it's crazy how much great content you put out, I'm a lot newer to taking these D8 and D9 and your content has been great. Comparing D8 to D9 is weird because I've only had a bit of D9 recently, and D8 edibles get me just about as high. You made a good point with your edibles comparison and I 100% agree that I think D8 edibles are actually great and at the end of the day what it all boils down to, how high it gets you, and D8 edibles get me so much higher than D8 carts but the carts themselves are alright and put me in a nice headspace overall where I feel great. I have felt paranoid with D8 but I think I took way too many edibles the one time it actually did happen, in general it's been pretty nice and actually helps me be more social (cause I have a bit of social anxiety otherwise, D8 helps push me to be more open and talkative).

Delta 8 and 10 are what we use here in Georgia (some of the time), I’ve bought some from corner gas stations and Alpine Dispensary in Helen, Ga. The edibles are a different level of stoned, very close to mushrooms in my opinion (I have a low tolerance), but the vapes aren’t my favorite, give me a headache and usually get too paranoid. Love the channel!

I've been smoking delta 8 almost solely, because I don't live in a legal state. I don't see to big of a difference between the highs of d8 and d9 tbh. I feel like just like most other weed related products its partially different for everyone and partially just placebo marketing. I pretty much only smoke carts of d8 aswell, because I'm not in a situation where bud is practical. It helps alot with my stress and anxiety, and makes me more confident in social situations because I'm a pretty shy dude until I get to know you well. Oh and btw for anyone thinking of getting d8 for the first time I definitely recommend edibles or carts because the d8 bud isn't real bud its just cbd bud with d8 sprayed on it.

D8 is less sedating and less anxiety inducing. It’ll get you just as high if you smoke enough but it will feel thin and lite without feeling as “stoned”. Regular weed is more of a thick high and arguably more euphoric than D8 but D8 definitely has a place in my life alongside regular weed

Delta 9 gives me more of an animated feeling, more "out there" than Delta 8. I prefer D9 but I like that D8 gets me maybe 70% of a D9 high so I can function better with D8.

Ive been using delta 8 carts for a couple of weeks now, for me they feel the same high as a live resin cart which also to me feels less intense than a pure distilate cart but more wide hitting(?). And for the price, around 27$usd after tax for 1g carts, its a steal even from my own plug. I think delta 8 carts are worth it if youre lower on money or just want a slightly less intense but wider high like a live resin.

my experience is that Delta 8 THC is typically a lot less intense than Delta 9 THC, but sometimes Delta 8 can really hit for some reason but it usually doesn’t last very long.

From my experience with Delta 8, and 10. I could smoke it, and be 100% confident in giving a professional speach/Sermon that I've studied for. Delta 9....I be hiccupping, laughing, or being a sloth. 8 and 10 I use during the days where I'm performing a task that requires 100% of my concentration Delta 9 aka "The good chit" I prefer to smoke whenever I'm relaxing and have no bothers to tend to 😌

I smoke both delta 8 and regular kush but the reason I like delta 8 tho is because it has a completely different tolerance than Regular weed so you can have the highest tolerance for weed and get a completely new high from delta 8 but then you get a tolerance for delta 8 but then you just some regular weed and get a good new high

Delta 8 really helps me with my severe insomnia, they had me on Ambien but they didn’t want me to be on it long term so once they took me off I decided to try some of the delta 8 products from local gas stations. It helps tremendously and honestly I decided it was such a tame high that I’ve been smoking delta 8 throughout the days most days. I also smoke normal/delta 9 THC and I’d say it’s about 3/4 as strong imo, I do agree with the people who don’t get as much paranoia off delta 8 because while I don’t get insane paranoia off delta 9 I do get a slight amount. I also don’t personally think delta 8 carts are super rough depending on the brand you go for. (Edit: rephrasing)

I’ve tried delta 8 several times. It definitely gets you high but it’s 100% a different high. You can still go to Jupiter but it’s like orbiting on a different axis to then delta 9. I’m not sure if delta 8 itself is less potent or if the carts that I have tried are just cut with more vape juice, but you definitely notice a different. I hate to use this term because it sounds bad but I would describe it as a “dirtier” high. I definitely can report that delta 8 at least makes me more paranoid then normal bud. My recommendation is not to only smoke delta 8 if you can and smoke delta 9 instead. Also I really enjoy mixing bud with a delta 8 cart, it really gives you like body feel that 9 gives you but the absolute mental head high 8 gives you.

Yes! Ive tried Delta 9 and didn't love it as much as Delta 8. Much better day to day feeling. Been using Highlighter pens from Canna River lately and its been great. Just came out with new ones and they're much better then the flavors from before. rainbow sherbet is to die for!

I've done it all. edibles, vape carts, dabs. edibles are good if you want a really good long lasting buzz to a high depending on consumption. vapes are good for a quicker uptake on the high. dabs can wreck you if your not careful. its really good for those who can't get get access to cannabis. i love the stuff!!

I like the edibles, however recently i decided to stop using them. Make sure the shop your buying from is legit. I had been using Stoneos bought from a local smoke shop. But i found out over this last weekend that it’s not from a company or lab, they spray the candies themselves. I wouldn’t have known this for sure up until i went in and the cookies and gummies that had previously been in packaging are now all in Tupperware and they bag them in baggies for you. Decided to go back to my plug, got a Levo2 and I’m going to make my own edibles from now on, at least I’ll have more control over what i consume.

The difference between the legal Delta-8 and natural Delta-8 is that the one legal in most states that weed isn't legal is synthetically created in a lab from a hemp plant which contains no thc, while delta-8 from marijuana is natural coming from a thc plant.

I tried Delta 8 gummies. They're okay if you have mild issues you're trying to treat on occasion. It *does* get those who are very occasional use people a little high. For medical use, it's better than CBD, but far inferior to THC 9.

I've only tried delta 8 once when I had to renew my license and they were giving out free sample gummies so I tried one. At the time I was taking 200-300mg doses of regular thc on a daily basis. I took what was labeled "100mg" delta 8 and I have to say I was surprised. I wasn't blown away by any means, but I felt a subtle difference during a time when my tolerance was heavy.

Delta 8 is certainly a good starter into the cannabis plant. It definitely turned me on to delta 9 and now I use them both for different reasons. I found mixing them to be plenty fun.

In GA - tried Delta 8 gummies and really enjoyed them. Gives you a mild all day happy buzz. I felt really creative and relaxed on them. Def. got the munchies. Take it in the morning. As your body digests it you will stay lightly buzzed all day. And at the end of the day you will sleep like a baby! So I like them.

I’ve been smoking delta 8 for about 7 months now instead of actual weed and I can say it’s a great alternative if your life is busy and you get tired from smoking regular thc delta 8 gets you high without the side effects although not as high. But still a great high for day time everyday use.

A lot of times with regular weed, I used to get physical anxiety but it wouldn’t stress me out; Basically, I’d get the shakes for no apparent reason. Delta 8 is much more mild in that department. I can mellow out without getting super baked which is preferable. I always preferred mids when I used to get flower on the black market, the really strong Frankenstein-weed was just too much sometimes.

My partner brought edibles, said that Delta 8 would relax my body and reduce anxiety and that 100 mg was a "standard" dose. I ate around 70mg. In like 30 min I started to have a severe confusion, or maybe that was a strong sedation. I felt like I was passing out, if I focused on one thing everything else just disappeared, and the space-time perception was very weird. But all the time my mind worked and I could analyze everything that was going on. I should mention, I never did edibles before, never smoked a lot, and just in general I hate altered states of mind. I was panicking for 3 hours then I became tired and depressed and just wanted to be back to normal. 27 hours after I'm still feeling a bit spaced out and it's difficult to focus.

I took too much Delta 8 edible and was high for 24 hours, whereas I've taken some vape and about 5 mg Delta 9 edible and was only high for 2 hours. It's like taking only one tablet of Aleve and feeling the normal effects, while taking above recommended dose of Motrin, which can have adverse effects. For reasons like this, I think its an unfair double standard that Delta 8 THC is legal but Delta 9 regular THC is not.

I was running and by mile 4 had lost my awareness of time and distance. I felt paranoid and all dry mouthed. In other words had a bad trip. When I use Delta 9 which isn't as much, I feel changes but not as drastic as that Delta 8 trip. Everyone reacts different.

@@nicholaszeman4045 but you’re not getting my point, Delta 8 is just weed-lite, you only had such an intense experience because you consumed so much through your stomach. Lil science lesson: Consuming thc through your lungs gets it into your blood in a few minutes but it fades away after a few hours. Consuming through your stomach takes way longer for it to reach your bloodstream and once it does you start to feel it and it keeps releasing for MANY more hours. If you would’ve vaped the same amount of delta 8 you would’ve barely felt anything; but if you ate a delta 9 edible you would’ve been too high to speak or move for even longer

@@tonyflamingosucks6590 I think what I have been meaning to say is, if one mismanages their Delta 8 doses they can be in for a bad experience and trip like I was last year, and if one manages their normal Delta 9 doses properly it won't be that bad and can be great. I wasn't arguing in any way that if you mismanage Delta 9 it wouldn't be a bad experience. In fact, yes, can be way worse. What I was getting at is, if you mismanage Delta 8 doses it can make for a miserable time. Like I said, not different than taking a normal Aleve and serving its purpose, and overdosing on Motrin and getting badly dehydrated and other bad things.

Delta 8 is a much smoother high that creeps up on you like wine. It personally gives me a mellow laid back type of feel that allows me to sit back and analyze the world. Delta 9 tends to get me higher faster and lasts an eternity 😄. They both work wonders with my anxiety and stress, but Delta 8 is more pleasant 😎

Been smoking for a bit but just recently got a d8 hybrid pen after meeting a friend who finally got me interested enough to get one. So far most times I’ve used it it’s quickly gotten my eyes heavy and just an interesting half high I guess. Don’t got much else to say about it but might try different versions later down the line

Delta 8 is for me is what I thought CBD would be like when I first tried that a few years ago. I use the cartridges and 1 lasts me about a month. Gets me high enough to feel really good but still keep functioning.

I live in texas, and we usually ONLY have D-8 unless you wanna risk a cart thats laced, or flower from a dealer. D8 for me is much like flower, but its not as intense or overwhelming, When i smoke a lot of flower im often impaired when i drive home, but with D-8 im perfectly fine and drive normally.

Moved to Florida 2 years ago and had to give up my bongs and pipes....missed my weed. A buddy was talking Delta 8 so I found a shop near me and got a tincture, seltzer water and 2 vape carts. It's mild, kinda like the engines are revving but you never really go anywhere. It doesn't have the introspective questioning Delta 9 does. I have blacked out twice hitting the cart but honestly prefer good old fashioned weed with Delta 9.

@@cewpins Low purity makes it harsh. I vape Atmosphere and it is a super smooth. 100% pure with 97%+ THC and terps. It isn't cheap though, it costs more because it isn't cut. I still get myself to cough (gotta cough to get off!) by taking 15 second rips, filling my lungs with air, and compressing the hit. Gets the eyes watering and when that high sets in there is nothing better! I stay high for like 4 hours. A 1ml cart lasts me 2 weeks and Im an all daily user!

Im in Tennessee, so D8 is all i cant get, legally. It is different high than D9, but still a high. I mostly vape and It seems to hit me me more in the head ( behind the eyes, if that makes since). I have tried the gummies and they work great, but most are 25mg each so I have to eat a few to get my desired effect. The gummies are mostly sold in packs/bottles of around 1000mg at between $45/50 for each, Making vape a most cost effective option for me. Yoiu can get a 2gram dispossible for about the same price. Also I like my highs to feel like Tommy Chong looked in Still Smokin, so I tend to get the vapes labeled as Indica, but that just because of my weed culture conditioninng andi get pretty much the same effect from the hybrid and sative lebeled vapes...I do, however, think the THC-O stuff works better, fo me... Still, Im counting the days until I can walk into a dispencery and by the real Reals..

I live in Utah and we have medical legal here. It still boggles my mind walking Into the dispensary and ordering what I want. I never thought that I'd see the day Utah would have even medical legal. I tried D8 edibles for the first time the other night because my friend had some and I wanted to see if there was a difference. Honestly they were pretty good. The main difference I noticed is it was more of a body high and not as much of a mind high. I take D9 edibles every evening and I didn't mind the d8 in comparison. D8 is Different, but still good in its own right.

I have GAD and a NM medical card. I have done both and while i prefer D9, D8 is a fine substitute. It is harsh, I agree and for safety purposes, I prefer to dab on lower temps with smaller globs. But I think you can't go wrong with either. D8 does not make me anxious but D9 does. D9 is also more potent so I can take a dab or two I am soaring. (I am also a little on the smaller side so my metabolism is faster). For D8, it is usually a few dabs, but no more then 4. Also, the terps in D8 are nonexistent and/or artificially placed in. You have been warned. Trust me, even the highest quality D8 may have a slight hempy undertone. If you want to dab for the flavor, not the high, then I recommend staying away from D8.

The reason delta 8 is so much harsher is because of its PH. Delta 9 has a PH of 6.8 (almost neutral) and delta 8 has a ph of 8.3 alot further away from neutral.

New delta 8 user. I like it and your review is spot on for me too. The flower is meh the vape is pretty good but the edibles are at their strongest effect. Also wanted some pain relief for some of my shoulder and neck issues. I picked up “Delta 8 Living Freeze”. It’s the same scent as biofreeze but contains 950mg of D8. Let me tell you, I was pain free for the day after the second application. I have chronic pain sometimes makes me feel maddening to find relief. I appreciate the legality of this. No bad side effects to speak of ether but the munchies do come on strong. Just be aware of that and have healthy snacks and water. ☮️

I work at a hemp dispensary (soon to be an actual dispensary when we medically/recreationally legalize) and i’ve found for the strongest effects when it comes to hemp derived thc is when you mix cannabinoids. I literally mix like thcp, thco, hhc, and sometimes d8 (its a little harsher than the rest so i dont smoke it much) and it def gets you significantly higher than just d8 on its own. still just ready to legalize weed tho ❗️

The "hemp dispensary" was an industry I didn't see coming. After the Farm Bill one opened in my area that just sold CBD, they only had a couple of sad looking shelves. Now they sell all the derivative stuff and have opened a huge second location, they're making a killing on that stuff. I myself had a delta 8 phase when it was new but I never really made my mind up on it so I don't mess with it anymore, or any of the others for that matter. With one exception: I'm a sucker for those hemp derived D9 edibles. They run em 25% off and while they don't feel very clean, they're cheaper than hell.

I've smoked for years on delta 9 bud, wax, carts, you name it. I've fallen on some pretty rough times financially, but I have a dependency issue with thc, and I just couldn't afford to continue consuming d9. That being said, I mostly smoke to calm my nerves. I'm constantly on edge and I have anger issues. D8 does NOT make me feel stoned to a point where I'm like couch locked or anything, but when I start not being able to control my emotions, d8 really calms me down. It's really cheap and has been a lifesaver for me over the last few months, only in the form of concentrates tho. The bud doesn't do anything for me, but I might just be getting a bad product, carts are ok too, just not my preffered method. And as far as edibles, I just don't get high on any edibles. I've taken multi thousand mg doses of both d8 and d9 in the past and felt pretty much nothing.

Delta 8 is just fine imo. I have a Delta 8 cart that I love to hit an hour before bed. I get a nice little warm head high, listen to some music, eat a snack and sleep with no problem. It really helps with insomnia and appetite loss, and it's also good for having some fun.

I live in Minnesota with a shitty super nice and expensive medical system. I have used almost delta 8 only for over a year now. Super cheap and scratches that itch just fine for me. I dab raw distillate mostly. For me it kills my appetite. I have lost around 40 pounds since using delta 8! I hardly ever drink now tho because of 8. But I am a smaller guy so me losing 40 pounds gets me a ton of compliments now as I am back to my high school body without exercise!! I am almost 40 also. I don’t get as much paranoia with 8 as 9. With 9 I don’t really like to be noticed where with 8 I can smoke and go talk to someone’s mom like nothing! Cheers!

I hate to say this but I took a 25mg delta 8 gummy (although I hadn’t taken any form of thc for 4-5 months) and I had a massive panic attack. It lasted 4ish hours and was actually awful.
