Does DOLLAR STORE *WALLPAPER* actually work? | Honest Review

In today's video I'm trying out The Dollar Store's wall paper. Spoiler! I actually love how it turned out and I'm definitely going to be doing this in the future for other apartments or homes we live in. Let me know what you guys think and if you have any tips on how I can install it better because my skills are definitely lacking. Thanks for watching!

I think it came out great. For the par on the wall where that little seperation between the pieces is , you can hide that with colored pencils. Just match the colors as close as possible. I do th same thing when a piece of my jigsaw puzzles is missing.

The trick to DT wall paper sticking is not to reposition it once it is on the wall, if you stick it and then remove and reposition a piece, it will never stay put again. Once you have all the pieces down, go over them with a rolling pin, pressing pretty hard, this will help the pieces adhere to the wall better.

most walls, especially in older buildings, are not perfectly straight and even. I suspect that is why the paper got farther and father away from the edge as you took the pattern upwards. Even new homes there can be minor inconsistencies that you don't see with the naked eye but find out when doing something like wallpaper or laying tiles. :)

I like the wallpaper from Dollar Tree. Which really sticks, I did an accent wall in my craft with the woof like pattern. Finish the refrigerator. It looks good.

Grateful for the ideas, especially, the fridge. On those bubbly areas, perhaps some heat to it might help it stick better. Great way to upgrade. You are awesome.

Start in the middle side of the wall and work your way out - it will line up better

Most walls are not plumb. Always start in the center and when you get to the edge you may find out from the floor to the ceiling there is a slight difference you did a great job

If you painted the wall the backround color of the wallpaper it may have hid the lines better?

Pretty, but some overhang a quarter inch for drying shrinkage.

what does overhang the wallpaper mean? you cover one edge with the next wallpaper? would that make the edges not align properly? thanks
