Phil Collins and Bronwyn Maddox are good examples of todays state of journalism, instead of holding the government to task and casting a critical eye on it's activities, we instead get endorsements and testemonials from them. Like him or loath him, George Galloway certainly gives you a moment of pause and reflection counter to the mainstream narrative.

The US under Obama tried to isolate Australia to eternal poverty with the TPP and Australia signed it, which would have meant no trade with the rest of Asia except for the other TPP members but luckily the US congress scrapped it.
