True. I have about 75kg of load I can add to the rack which is plenty for me but may not be suitable for heavy rooftop tents

I did with roofbar, got my maxtrax pin , shower tent, platform looks good, worry how to wash underneath, ur is better I think. Interesting will that make the car cooler.

Did you consider vinyl wrap on vehicle, especially the roof prior to roof rack? Good video.

Hi mate! Not really interested in a wrap at this point. Very costly and only lasts 5 years. In my opinion, I’d rather a respray when the paint gets too bad and touch the paint up when needed. There’s no cheap solution unfortunately

I got it from A1 roofracks but this model is discontinued. I linked to the platform 6 in the description. It was on sale at the time of editing

They are all a hassle mate. I have done 4 different installations with various brands. This was comparatively easier than previous installs
