6:45 - This is why we can’t isolate scripture, because not only does this verse not say that at all, but the context of this verse is literally given just two verses above. For the whole context, Deuteronomy 32 is the song of Moses. It is about Israel’s future rebellion and the judgement that God will bring on them. Then, in verse 36 it begins to speak of God’s mercy on his people after his judgement. Verse 37 & 38 speak of God telling Israel to cry out to the gods that they made sacrifices to. Verse 39 says he does this to show that he is the Most High and there is none above or beside him.

14:52 - the sheet was actually filled with both clean and unclean animals. We know that it was both clean and unclean because the word common was used several times. He stated that nothing *common* or unclean has ever entered his mouth. In first century Judea, something was referred to as common it was mixed in with unclean things. Both people and food. This was not God’s rules, but rather man’s rules, which is why God sent the vision in the first place. The tradition of the Pharisees was that the Jews were not to fellowship with the Gentiles because the Gentiles had unclean practices, ate unclean things off of unclean plates and things of that nature. The Pharisees believed if you were to fellowship with Gentiles, then you would become common, because you were mixed with unclean things. Peter received this vision around 40 AD, which was almost a decade after Jesus gave the disciples what is referred to as the as “The Great Commission” in Matthew 28: 19-20. Jesus told the apostles to go and make disciples of all nations. In Mark 16: 14-18, Jesus tells his disciples to preach the gospel to every creature. In Acts 1: 4-8, Jesus tells the disciples to witness of him to the ends of the earth. How could they preach the gospel throughout the world, if they had no interaction with the Gentiles? That’s what the vision was about. Peter could eat the clean animals on the sheet but he was too worried about man’s traditions

11:17 - He didn’t tell the Gentiles because that is Israel’s job (Isaiah 2: 2-5, Isaiah 49: 5-6, Matthew 5: 13-16). Jesus came to bring repentance to Israel (Acts 5:31) so they could carry out the promise that God made to Abraham (Genesis 12: 1-3). This is why Jesus said he only came for the lost sheep of Israel (Matthew 15:24) and that salvation comes from the Jews (John 4:22). Israel brings all nations/Gentiles to him. This is why the nations/Gentiles cleave to Israel (Isaiah 14:1, Zechariah 8: 16-23), because they are God’s people (Deuteronomy 7:6). So there’s no confusion of what I’m saying, if you are in Christ then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise (1 Corinthians 12:13, Galatians 3: 26-29, Ephesians 2: 11-22). If you are in Christ, then you are Israel.

21:42 - In Acts 15, people were teaching that you had to be circumcised to be saved. That is the context. Not whether they should follow the law or not. We already know that we are saved by grace through faith, as is written in Habakkuk 2:4, which Paul quoted numerous times (Romans 3:20, Romans 11:6, Galatians 5:4, Ephesians 2: 8-9). Peter told them not to put a yoke on the necks of the Gentiles (man made laws and traditions of the Pharisees), because it was too much bear and even they couldn’t keep it. Then James decided that they shouldn’t throw everything on to new converts, and that they would hear the rest in the synagogue on the Sabbath. James gave them four commands from the law, and said they would hear the rest in Synagogues every Sabbath. The Torah portion was read in the synagogues on the Sabbath. They read a few books of the Torah every week until they got to the end. Then they would restart at the beginning of the new year. They did not tell them to forsake the law, but rather they gave them four commands from the law to start off with, because these sins were rampant in that location, and told them they would hear the rest in the synagogues on the Sabbath.

0:27 - In 1 Corinthians 1:11, Paul says to imitate him as he imitates Christ. We know that Jesus kept the law (John 15:10, Galatians 4:4). In 1 Timothy 6: 3-6 Paul says that if anyone teaches contrary to Jesus, then they know nothing and we should withdraw from them. So, if Paul taught to abandon the law, then by his own word, we should withdraw from him. Now with that in mind, we see that Paul *NEVER* taught that the law was done away with. In fact, Paul himself followed the law as seen in Acts 24: 14, Acts 18: 18-21, & Romans 7: 25. It is most explicitly stated in Acts 21: 18-26, when Luke made it clear that Paul did *NOT* teach to abandon the law. This is proved further, due to the fact that Paul is often the only one who people quote in an attempt to show that the law was done away with. However, even Paul himself said that everything must be established by the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses (2 Corinthians 13:1, 1 Timothy 5:19). This is in agreement with what is stated numerous times in The Bible. First by God in in the Torah (Deuteronomy 17:6, Deuteronomy 19:15), and by Jesus in his teachings (Matthew 18:16, John 8: 17-18). It is mentioned in Hebrews 10:28 as well, the author though is unclear. We also need to consider the fact that Paul is hard to understand, therefore it is easy to misinterpret his words. Don’t take my word for it though, Paul himself says he is not a good speaker (1 Corinthians 1:17, 1 Corinthians 2:1, 2 Corinthians 11:6), then it is confirmed by a second witness when Peter wrote that Paul is hard to understand and people who don’t know what they are talking about try to twist his words, just as they do with the rest of scripture (2 Peter 3: 15-16). So with that in mind, you must understand many of the scriptures that people use to try to explain that the law is done away with, are used in error.

What about how Paul talks about how believers are wild olive trees that are grafted to the olive tree of Israel .In Romans 11. Thus making us no longer gentiles but Israelites. I’m a new believer and this aspect of our faith really frustrates me because we are all so fragmented. It’s really confusing for new people. Just in case, I have been following every OT law I learn. God made the laws, so I am blessed to follow them, regardless if I’m officially required too. No one is really required to do anything with the gift of freewill. But it’s pretty awesome to just follow all the law.

16:13 - In verse 1, Paul warned Timothy, that some will depart from the faith by “devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons”. What are these “teachings” that Timothy is to be wary of? Paul tells us in the next two verses * 1 Timothy 4: 2-3 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. Paul told Timothy to beware of liars who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who know the truth. Paul is not telling us to just thank God and then anything you can shove into our mouth will be accepted as clean. those words are NOT in the text! The words that are in the text of verse 3, are as follows: *”foods”* that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who know the *“truth”*. Paul did NOT just add the word “truth” to his dialogue for poetic reasons, he said it for a reason, a very good reason. The Greek word for “truth” in this verse is Strong’s G225 ἀλήθειαν/alētheian, a noun which Thayer’s Greek Lexicon states as: “what is true in things pertaining to God and the duties of man”. In the Septuagint (the Hebrew Scriptures translated into Greek), the word alētheia/truth, is *always* translated from the noun אֱמֶת/emeth, Strong’s H571 or the noun אֱמוּנָה/emunah, Strong’s H530. Brown-Driver-Briggs states “emunah” to mean: firmness, steadfastness, fidelity; 1. “faithfulness and trust” when used of human conduct. 2. an attribute of God. Brown-Driver-Briggs states “emeth” to mean: firmness, faithful, truth: a.) as spoken, to speak truth, the thing is certainly true; b.) of testimony and judgement; c.) of divine instruction; d.) truth as a body of knowledge Everything that God has spoken is אֱמֶת/emeth/truth, always. *It is not possible for anything that the Almighty has ever spoken, to become not-truth* (Nehemiah 9:13, Psalms 19:9, Psalms 25: 4-5, Psalms 86:11, Psalms 119: 43-44, Psalms 119:142, Psalms 119: 151-152, Psalms 119:160, Romans 2:8) The apostle Paul used the word alētheia/truth in 1 Timothy 4:3 intentionally, and he obviously expected Timothy to understand why. He expected Timothy to understand that the truth was something that you put into practice, something to be obeyed. Paul told Timothy (and us) that knowing “the Truth”, is knowing “the Scriptures”, the Word of God, and that’s how we can understand and know what is considered set-apart or holy, as food to eat. He verifies this for us in the very next sentence * 1 Timothy 4: 4-5 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; 5 for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. The “Word of God” that Paul is referring to is The Scriptures, which consist of the Law, the Prophets and the Writings; that is what sets-apart (makes holy) what God has created as good food. The only place in the Word of God that discusses what He created holy as food, is Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14. Paul just told Timothy, and us, that it’s The Law that defines what is holy to eat. Paul was referring to the teachings of Gnosticism in 1 Timothy 4:3, which was rampant in the first century. These Gnostic doctrines taught against marriage, abstaining from all meat and touching certain things, as well as, many other unscriptural dogmas. This is what Paul was warning Timothy about. In 1 Timothy 4:3, the apostle Paul specifically lists forbidding marriage in the same breath as requiring abstinence from foods. Paul cannot be referring to the Law, because God’s Law does not forbid marriage. Besides that, Paul claims these are “teachings of demons” in 1 Timothy 4:1. We know that God’s law is not the doctrine of demons. The law is pure, perfect, good, true, just and righteous (Deuteronomy 4:8, Nehemiah 9:13, Psalms 19: 7-8, Romans 7:12, Romans 7:16, 1 Timothy 1:8) Lastly, when he states “all food”, this was referring to what God has ordained as food. Every single Israelite (including Paul and Timothy) knew what this definition was: besides all of the plants yielding seeds, it was all of the *clean* animals listed in Leviticus 11. Unclean animals weren’t considered food. Here in America, if I set a plate in front of you that had a chicken leg and a dog leg on it, and then asked you to eat the food on the plate, what would you select? You would pick the chicken leg, yes? That’s because it’s the only thing on the plate that is considered food in our culture. You can eat dirt or rocks, but this does not make them food. Similarly, for Jesus, his disciples, the Pharisee’s and every other Israelite, if someone had set bread, a pork chop and shrimp down on a table in front of them, and asked which one is food, every single last one of them would have picked the bread, and only the bread. Unclean animals wouldn’t have even crossed the minds of these law observing Jews as food. How do I know this? It’s because God never commanded unclean animals to be received with thanksgiving and he never consecrated them. In fact, he called them abominable to us and he even gave a promised death sentence through prophet Isaiah stating that Jesus would return and consume with fire those who eat these abominable creatures (Leviticus 11, Deuteronomy 14, Isaiah 66: 15-17)

It is an interesting video. I personally think the old testament laws are horribly outdated laws of a society of more than 2000 years ago. We can not live according to ancient laws, they need to progress with time like our technology and society does. Honestly why would God care what you eat, if you cut off your foreskin, have tattoos etc... We don't sacrifice animals to a God either, at least Christianity doesn't, it's barbaric and in my opinion evil to kill an animal just for a religious purpose. I personally only care about Jesus' teachings, not the old testament laws.

Jesus teachings were based in the OT laws and writings of the prophets. He didn’t come to preach a different OT . Or else how he would prove himself to be the Jewish Messiah if he taught a different one? The OT law in the OT was the foreshadow of how we should keep the law now, because the law is Spiritual . That’s why the sacrificial law OT was the foreshadow of the sacrificial law now which is in the Messiah who presents himself for the sins of humanity. The fact that we don’t slaughter animals for sacrifice anymore does not mean the law is non-existent, it’s clearly been carried out. Circumcision was a symbol of the flesh (our sins) being removed from us That means that in reality we should be circumcised from the heart because it’s where all evil comes from (“For out of the heart come evil thoughts-murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭15‬:‭19‬ ‭NIV‬‬. So the fact that we don’t circumcise the physical flesh does not mean by any means that the law is done and away with. It doesn’t take you a physical move to commit murder, by hating your neighbor, you are already a murder. I hope you understand my explanation and helps you understand.

I think it's quite simple, God said a prophet like Moses would come that we should listen to and that is Yeshua. He would fulfill the law and it would be done before heaven and earth pass away. However, he mentions that our righteousness must exceed that of the Pharisees by keeping the commandments that he mentions in the context, but faith also meant what he would do later on the cross. Faith in God's work on the cross justifies us in Christ. Acts 15 is about circumcision and the entire Law of Moses (not the laws of the Pharisees) and Gentiles are not required to be under it, certain criteria are mentioned as necessary to follow regarding idolatrous food, sexual immorality and blood as these were sensitive matters even before the law was given. These things they would propably hear in the law of Moses when it was read on sabbath but also learn about how Yeshua fulfills the prophecies. However Jesus tells us to abide in his commandments and all the words he said (that includes the creation of man and woman in marriage). Everything he says is from the Father so it is God's commandments in a new covenant with grace and the promise of eternal life.

5:46 - Paul says here that if anyone was called while already circumcised he should not undo his circumcision. Huh? That’s an odd statement. An uncircumcised man can cut off his foreskin, but can a circumcised man “sew on” foreskin? Well, there were some that attempted to do something like that. In the second century B.C. there was a large Hellenization of Jews. A gymnasium was built in the land of Israel, and some of the men wished to participate in the games at the gymnasium nude. In order to have the appearance of the Greeks, the men would undergo some type of "surgery" whereby the foreskin was reattached to their penis. They were circumcised men, but attempted to become Greeks by performing un-circumcision. (1 Maccabees 1: 10-15 and 2 Maccabees 4: 7-9.). *You don’t have to agree that this is scripture or that it’s inspired, but the events in it are historically accurate* Paul follows this by writing, "Was anyone called while uncircumcised? He should not get circumcised." You must understand it in light of the law and the prophets (Isaiah 8:20). Paul was simply saying that those called to Christ while in un-circumcision should not receive circumcision for the wrong reason. You should not receive circumcision out of pressure from the Pharisees, or for declaring you innocent in the sight of God. Remember, Paul did not compel Titus, a Greek, to be circumcised, because of the false brethren (Galatians 2: 3-4). Paul saw it best to leave Titus uncircumcised, because to circumcise Titus at that time in that context, would give Titus the impression that Paul was caving in to the false circumcision doctrine that you had to be circumcised to be saved. For a person to be circumcised out of a desire to be obedient was and is an entirely different issue. As a matter of fact, the phrase "did not compel Titus to be circumcised because of the false brethren" implies that if it were not for the false brethren, Paul would have circumcised Titus. This is the same man that wrote that circumcision profits much in every way (Romans 3: 1-2). This gains weight when reading the next verse, 1 Corinthians 7:19: "Circumcision does not matter and un-circumcision does not matter, but keeping the commandments does." Circumcision is a commandment (Genesis 17: 9-14, Leviticus 12: 1-3), and keeping God’s commandments does matter. What did not matter was what was going on at that time concerning Jews trying to be Greeks and Gentiles trying to gain the approval of the Pharisees. These types of scruples or idiosyncrasies do not matter. It is the simple obedience to the law of God that does matter.

Talk to the Jews first and if they are eventually judged as beyond help then go to the gentiles. History is a step by step lesson in God's Kingdom of Glory then Kingdom of Grace and eventually the restoration of the Kingdom of Glory. If people ask for help by way of judgement (statutes and ordinances which were mailed to the cross) because of their impefect character God answers them with wisdom for the worldly but there is wisdom that is Kingdom wisdom. (The Moral Law). Only the spiritually discerned have an ear to hear and eyes to understand. Only the spiritually discerned the Faithful and True Witnesses. The Bible speaks in parables for a reason, a reason that He didn't cast pearls before swine. That's why their are so many people giving man's reasoning. Man's reasoning accepts eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. That's why false teachers justify that there isn't a moral law in the arc of the covenant.

It was prophesied by Jeremiah that all laws of Moses would be by gone including 10 commandments and a new law would be established. Jeremiah 31:31-33 KJV [31] Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: [32] Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord : [33] But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jesus came not to destroy the law but to fulfill it and a dot will not pass of the law until it’s fulfilled. In other words, once the law is fulfilled, it shall pass away. This pass away of the old laws doesn’t mean destruction but fulfilment. Galatians 5:14 KJV [14] For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. The law of moses ended with the death of Jesus causing the veil of temple torn into two. The new convenant started with the church. Therefore, we’re not under any law of Moses including 10 commandments, we’re only bound by one law - LOVE - which has all moral laws of moses in it in a better way. For instance, law of moses teaches not to commit adultery, but Love teaches us not to even think of adultery

First, our God told us in 1 Corinthian 6:19 that our body is a temple of God so we have to stay away from the things that make our body unclean such as sexual immorality and eating unclean which are said in Leviticus 11. In Colossians and 2 Timothy you read it out of context. You have lot of audience here on youtube please be careful with your studies. 20:29 - Jesus said until Heaven and earth pass. Heaven and earth are witnesses to the law (Deuteronomy 30:19). The only way the law can be done away with, is if Heaven and earth are done away with, because they are a witness to the law. You can look up and see the heavens and you can set your foot on the earth. Meaning, not the smallest letter, nor the least stroke of a pen has passed from the law. You know why, because all has not yet been fulfilled. Notice that Jesus said in the law *AND* the prophets. If everything was fulfilled in the law and the prophets, then Jesus would have already returned and judged the whole earth. Everyone would have been resurrected and believes would be with him right now. There would be no more death or sickness. The New Jerusalem would have already come down to the renewed earth. This has obviously not happened yet, so the law still stands.

@@PilgrimsHope What were Jesus’ words? Well, The scriptures state that The Prophet like Moses (which is Jesus - Acts 3: 18-26) would speak the words of God (Deuteronomy 18: 15-22), and Jesus agreed numerous times when he stated that he came only to do the will of the Father, and that he only speaks the words of the Father (Mark 14:36, John 5:19, John 5:30, John 6:38, John 7:16, John 8:28, John 12: 49-50, John 14:10, John 14:24, John 17:8, John 17:14). If he spoke anything else, he would be a false prophet, a sinner, and not the messiah (Deuteronomy 4:2, Deuteronomy 12:32 - Deuteronomy 13:5, Proverbs 30: 5-6). He wouldn’t be our spotless lamb. However, we know that he only spoke what was written.

Jesus' words are His words. The Gospels are where most of his words are recorded, not all of them though. Whatever Jesus spoke, it was not the same as the Law and prophets for their words will pass away, when the earth and heaven pass away. But Jesus' words are eternal in nature that will last forever and ever. For Jesus is the substance, while the law and the prophets are just a shadow.

@@NANA-fh6we I read it. Your point is that the laws and prophets of the old testament are speaking the word of God. So Jesus if he was a true prophet have to speak the same word of God, so His words are the same as the law and prophets. I think I see your point, but sadly the texts in Matthew say differently, which means you are interpreting the passages wrongly, Or that the book of Matthew is false. Jesus' words are different from the words of the law and prophets for they spoke the words that God only gave to be temporary, while the words Jesus spoke from God are meant to be eternal in nature. They are different, but as you have a worldview you believe in, you can't agree with that. I do not claim He is a false prophet, hypocrite, or a sinner, far from it! I see him as far more righteous than Moses, Abraham, Noah, David, and literally everyone. The sermon on the mount is a perfect example. Like perfect. Jesus quotes the old testament, then He says His words. *You heard it said to those of old, But I say to you.......* Matthew 5:21-22 *21 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’ 22 But I say to you..........*(do not be angry) Matthew 5:27-28 *27 “You have heard that it was said [i]to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you.......* (do not lust) Matthew 5:31-32 *31 “Furthermore it has been said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ 32 But I say to you.........* (only if death or sexual immorality, nothing else) Matthew 5:33-34 *33 “Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to the Lord.’ 34 But I say to you............*(do not swear at all) Matthew 5:38-39 *38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ 39 But I tell you...........*(love your enemies and do good to those who hate you) Matthew 5:43-44 *43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you.........*(similar to on top) And other places, but these are among the most explicit in delineating the words of the law and prophets and His words. Jesus is our lawgiver, not Moses. Just think of it in the Law of Moses people were allowed to hate, lust, revenge, divorce, etc. And you say it is the perfect Law of God? IOt was a compromised Law of God because if their hardness of hearts, the Ten commandments was a compromise. Then He ended the sermon on the mount with these words: *24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.* *26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”* *28 And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, 29 for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.* As if He has authority? ponder that........For He has.

First off we are under Grace. Ephesians 3:2 so N/A is wrong. Yes Noah's account and Romans 14 are not the dietary law that Moses gave to the jews. God is the same but he deals with different people differently. Second the book of Revelation wasn't written to gentiles but jews about to go through the 7 year Jacob's troubles tribulation. Third Peter didn't preach the gospel of Christ he taught the gospel of the kingdom to Cornelius. Only Paul taught the death burial and resurrection for sins. Hence him stating MY Gospel which he only received from the risen Christ in Arabia. Galatians 1 Fourth our commandments under grace are found in Romans-Philemon only. 1 Corinthians 14:37-38 Wherefore 👉the law was our schoolmaster👈 to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, 👉we are no longer under a schoolmaster.👈Galatians 3:24‭-‬25 KJV Yes in acts 15 James is not the apostle of the gentiles it was only a suggestion. Paul is the apostle of the Gentiles only. Romans 11:13 Thank you for this video. Tithing is also law Hebrews 7:5. Some will say Abraham tithed but those were spoils of war only a one time offering through war conquest and not God commanded. 2 Corinthians 9:7 is our doctrine #Grace #RightlyDivide

Thank you. I agree with most of your points in this comment. However, here's two things I'll disagree with you on: Revelation was in fact written to seven churches in Asia-Minor (present-day Turkey). This is very clear in chapters 1-3 and in the conclusion in chapter 22 verse 16. It is, in fact, explicitly stated in chapter 1 verse 4. However, while it was certainly written to Gentile churches, you're correct that it does speak mostly about the plight of the Jewish nation during the time of the 70th week of Daniel (Jacob's trouble). Secondly, there can be no difference between "Peter's gospel" and "Paul's gospel." This is abundantly clear since Paul wrote in Galatians 1:8, "if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." Was Paul calling Peter accused? Certainly not. So then, they must surely have had the same gospel.

@@TheBibleExplained I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say 👉they are Jews, and are not👈, but are the synagogue of Satan. Revelation 2:9 KJV Jewish Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say 👉they are Jews, and are not,👈 but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Revelation 3:9 KJV Jewish The body of Christ is nowhere in the book of Revelation nor is our Grace doctrine. We have peace with God Romans 5:1, 5:9, 8:1 We have His righteousness 2 Cor 5:21 Every symbolic reference in the first three chapters are Jewish. 2 Tim 2:15 brother. #RightlyDividing

@@TheBibleExplained the gospel of the kingdom, the everlasting gospel, and the gospel of Christ is all the same? Why save Paul when there was already 12 preaching in Israel? 1 Cor 3 Paul was the only one who went abroad and taught Grace through faith alone. Acts 15 & Gal 2
