It has been several months since I first saw this video with Reba and Linda and it has become one of my favorites to listen to. I also have seen the other ones that these two great ladies have recorded together as well as with a newer one with Dolly Parton. We are so lucky to have these very talented women in the music industry. God Bless them all!!

How did Linda Davis never become big? She did the original demo with Reba and Reba loved her voice so much she wanted to record it with her. She had such an amazing voice. It appears she did make some other songs but never became big. In case you didn't know she is the mother of Hillary Scott from Lady A.

Lady A is why Linda didn't keep going she wanted to be a mother and wife, more than a career. Plus she had already released a few albums and wanted to pursue Gospel music as well.

This is the 3rd version of them twice in 1983 & now 1993 & this one is the best one cuz theres more fire & life in it & keeps getting better. Their voices balance each others out to more perfection that's already there. They're very close friends too. Check out the video of the song as a video tells the story w/the song. It's a great video
