I watched this, wanting to be a SEAL, and got demotivated at a point in time hearing the physical requirements demanded of me knowing that in this moment, I am not able to do half the things he is, but becoming one is what I want to do in life and I am goin to make it happen

Just did my PST this morning and Auto Qualified. Here's what a grader will get you on. - Sit up hand placement. Don't move em. Keep them flat. I got 5 taken off my sit ups but I know why..it's because my hands weren't fully grasping my shoulders. Last thing - lock out on those push ups. Didn't get knocked but they're watching. Hit 87 on push ups in 2 minutes which is my new best. Ship February

When I enlisted in 2004, everyone was saying to go to college first and I said class and studying wasn't for me. What people dont realize is, depending on what job you go into like mine, My entire job consists of studying and taking tests weekly. With all the stress of failing one and being kicked out of the job. If you dont go to college because you say you dont wanna study and take tests, just know, many enlisted jobs feel like you get paid to just study and take tests all the time. Iv been in for 19 years and just trying to focus on retirement now, but starting Monday, they have me back in a class that I cant fail. SMFH. Get your damm degree and go officer! The Navy will treat a brand new unqualified officer with 1 year of service like a KING, while treating an enlisted person who's been in for 19 years and 9 deployments like its time to take the trash out.

It’s almost impossible to be approved for OCS after they spend 36 months and $2M on you as a enlisted person in BUD/S training.

If he qualifies for spec-war officer while in delayed entry, he could easily be changed to officer programs, but will have a later ship date. He should get in touch with officer programs recruiter. He can just literally google their contact number. Qualified Spec war officer applicants are hard to find.
@jakezweig2 жыл бұрын
From experience once you have a relisted contact they are not going to take your SOAS package. Seen it 4 times

Hey Jake, I've noticed the National Guard nor Reserves ever mentioned by you. Specifically, for those considering SF, SF support (19th or 20th group) or AFSW (PJs, CCT, etc). Think it'd be a good option for older folks or people wanting a career/life change? Not "easier" than active duty, but an easier transition? Thanks in advanced

how do you do breath-holding stuff if your pool rules wont let you.
@wetandsandy12 жыл бұрын
Don’t do breath holds underwater lol??? That’s how you die. Ain’t nothin stopping you doing it on land.

Don’t do it underwater with no life guard or someone with you. It’s too dangerous that’s how you die
