Their song "Black Hole" comes to mind in terms of the more out-there, experimental stuff. I love how "No God" is discordant then hits you with the ridiculously catchy chorus, and the lyrics speak to me. But if you want more of the breaking the walls of time and space, well, Black Hole might do the trick.

You're going to love this band so much by the time 30 days has passed. I'm with you on the studio/live opinion. Studio=best foot forward. Live=full speed ahead! Does it get better than this? Yes, in that it's a different sort of awesome, as they're different every time! Mostly "hard rock" but infused with many other genres, with the occasional ballad and instrumental to keep you on your toes! 👍😎🥰 They do have some "doubles", for example "Manners" and "Black Sun", recorded back to back during COVID, as a gift to their MAIDIACS, because they couldn't perform live.

Prediction: when you hit day 30 you won’t want to stop! This is one of my favorite Band Maid songs… that main riff reminds me of Megadeath. What’s odd is that Band Maid has a lot of punk and thrash in their music and those are 2 genres I never much cared for yet what they do with it is simply awesome every single time, in my mind.

Got to the end and to answer your question is yes!...and maybe no. You could ask every single Band-Maid fan you meet and you would probably never get a matching top 5 song list from any of them. It's hard to explain a band that does not have a bad song, while my favorite song or top 5 might be different than yours, I can't fault you for thinking your songs are great. So does it get better, could definitely find a song you like more than No God, or No God could be your absolute favorite Band-Maid song. Both are very possible and both are completely fine. Yes, it gets even better than this…😎. First the live version is better and they sometimes do an extended introduction section to this and other songs. And then, many songs from Unseen World album (HGK, I Still Seek Revenge, Without Holding Back, Youth, Black Hole) and the Unleash EP (Corallium) push stylistic boundaries. Nothing this band does is ordinary in any respect.

Also, while band maid has a lot of these musical adventures, the three standouts are this one, Black Hole, and Corallium. And if I'm going to be honest with you, this one is actually the weakest of the three. Black Hole is the last song in the same album, Unseen World, while Corallium is a song in their new EP Unleash!!!!!

I can totally understand that response! Ignore haters, fans can be nasty - but it’s a bit unusual for Maidiacs as they try to emulate the bands humble personalities. For me that complexity keeps me interested as when listen to a song repeatedly and focus on different instruments, they all mesh together even when following a different theme. It’s symphonic! Keep listening, the Maids do many things well.
