It's a personal choice. If someone's wants too come out they will, if they are famous, they probably choose not too due too their fame. Zexuality doesn't define you. Society does accept it. It's people who keep saying society doesn't accept it that makes it seem that way. Change the rhetoric, promote the acceptance that does exist and it'll catch on.

I think a lot has changed since the 90s and players will be a lot more accepting of a gay team mate, the press wouldn't dare report negatively like Justin Fashanu and the public and fans will be accepting as long as he is a decent player.

In the UK? Nah, especially not from white people... even in this video the biggest backlash was from someone I will assume is Muslim.... not being anti anything here, I'm mixed race and my grandfather is Asian but the biggest religious issue wouldn't be from white or Christian types, England is nothing like America with ultra conservative Christian types who have just managed to make abortions illegal
