This video is a few years old. I heard that 2024 some insurances are finally covering the seat lift on a power chair. Ask your provider to look into this. Thanks for watching our videos.

Thanks for being so informative my god mom need one her doc put it in but nothing else been said 2. she can walk around in home some time she sufffers from hyperthyroidism I tries to walk her around this summer sumtimes she gets outta cars she stumbled sumtime she walk she have to stop a block away breathing hard just to go 2 n 3 blocks n feel faint I also know someone who in there 40s who have same condition she saving to get one because she not hearing nothing else even when 2 doctors wanted her to get one a cane wont help if they faintish and hard to walk 2 to 3 blocks any advice

This is the most information on reimbursement that I have found. Is it Posible to apply to Medicare and Blue Cross AFTER purchase for reimbursement? If so, how do you get the forms.

I don’t believe you can apply for reimbursement after the purchase with Medicare. I would call the customer care number on the back of your Medicare card. I hope this is helpful

It is the main purpose of the Insurance company, to NOT enhance the quality of life for people who need an electric wheelchair and want to get one.
