Does Motorkote cause sludge thru evaporation?

A long term experiment on Motorkote thru two vehicles and cooking the oils to encourage evaporative looses.

I put it in my water cooled 27hp Kawasaki V twin Scag mower. I installed a temp gauge years ago. It dropped the coolant temp 10 degrees! And no oil loss and the oil it staying cleaner. The motor has noticeably more power. I use 15 W 40 Rotella T6 and the recommended amounts of Motorkote. Oil temps will never get that high in a motor as in your test. The motor will be dead long before that.

Motorkote reduces friction by 95% or higher and your engine power steering transmission transfer case or rear differential, if you sent a sample of the oil when it's new and a sample after you drain it to the lab for testing look at the iron content when it's new it has an index of number one, after you drain the oil and have it tested the iron index under normal conditions is 150! After using motorkote you'll notice that the engine oil or transmission oil is not only cleaner when it's time to service and drain it? But it has less iron or aluminum or other metal content inside the drained oil! It only takes five or 10 seconds of use for the metal to metal surfaces develop the murder coat becomes coated over the metal and then you have two surfaces of super slick motorkote sliding against each other instead of metal friction! So the choice is yours make up your mind you want to gradually wear your engine and metal components down? Or do you want to extend the life of your engine transmission power steering differential transfer case X factor of 30 times

Truth is, when MotorKote is mixed with oil it doesn't sludge. People have used it for years on their cars, never had issues.

Hmm very interesting video, thank you! Was researching to see how safe Motorkote is under normal conditions, clearly not an issue if you are able to run full Motorkote! Never thought about how different the operating temperatures of various engines can vary widely as well.

You're test is Null. No engine will reach anywhere near close to 400 degrees. Ideally you want Oil Temp to be around 212-220 to burn off the moisture

Yeah.. as stated below the temps your using in the demo are too excessive.. i would love to see the same tests with standard operating temperatures.. like 240 max.. Keep up the good work..

It's not really a fair test because you're not testing it as designed, 2-3 oz per quart.

Never tried this product, but I do run a full compliment of Mogul engine & fuel system flushes and synthetic oils, all with excellent results (several Gen2 Prii, a Mercedes Sprinter motor home, a V-6 Jeep Liberty & several Honda V-6 vans). Every one experienced quieter lower idle & running, plus improved fuel consumption, so I'm a fan. Also, my vehicles don't burn any excessive oil, run cooler, and range from 185k miles (Jeep) to 325k miles (all of my Prii are 220k+ miles). The Mercedes is only 65k miles, but the last year before the turbo V-6 went to DEF. Love your videos!

MotorKote recommends 2oz per 1 quart oil. What exactly is it you are attempting to demonstrate here. Looks like apples to oranges comparison to me. A diesel vs a hybrid, different ratio mix’s, no mention of number of miles on either vehicle. If you are going to do some sort of test, you may want to establish a baseline first. But hey, it’s your money and time your wasting.

I had a Honda that I was going to junk because I don't have time to finish the body work and my wife was getting mad because it was sitting there for months. I put pure motorkote and drove it for an hour and was nervous af because I thought forsure it was going to die on me and it didn't. I drove it around for a month before I junked it and I was shocked that it was still running fine lol.

Prius engine oil operating temp is not 350F. Unless you can prove it. The 5w30 oil should have flash point of under 350F. Also the prius 1.5L runs pretty cool and it is not picky for oil at all. Normally those engines burn oil due to know problem with piston rings. And not because of 350F on a non turbo engine. pretty cool experiment but there is no benefit of using more than I think 16% of Motorkote to given oil amount (as per label). Reason is the oil will protect the engine as is and motorkote just adds another great protection. If it was some bad quality engine nothing can save it

The oil temp sensor isn’t located between the piston rings and roller bearings…. Oil gets really freaking hot inside the engine when it’s being worked hard. The oil temp sensor is not a accurate representation of internal engine temps.

I agree. The closer to the flame the hotter and thenoil in the pan is much cooler than the one one the piston ring but in general as mentioned in the video the normal operating temp for the oil is not 350F. I dont know what is that data based on

i love that you try it on your fleet, i would dare doing it on my miata, i only have 12 ounces in the engine oil, and dont notice any difference, also put 12 ounces in my mates volkswagon polo 1.6TDI and he also doesnt notice difference, but maybe it will protect the engine parts.....

I gained at least 15 percent on my Prius being conservative, but used a whole gallon. I hadn't thought about people not seeing results. Most people have stated positive things. Loved the VWs never owned a Mazda, well I did the Mazda B2000 (Ford Ranger had the same)not sure who manufactured it but it was great. Thanks for the feedback

Yes I gave it my best try however on the Sprinter testing I have an exact route same day same hours so therefore the same traffic etc. Great results. My favorite was however the transmission test video. It was the only test where I could "feel" the difference as silly as that sounds.

Scientifically the only way you going to see results is test your oil before and after in in the components you're putting it in whether it's a engine transmission power steering rear differential or transfer case and you'll see the iron and other metal content afterwards of draining oil and what the lab results will show before and after and then you can compare the results for yourself, that includes testing the oil before and afterwards wetherby engine oil transmission oil differential oil or transfer case oil that's the only way you can actually tell the difference and kind of before motorkote and after motor code so you can actually see what the difference is how much metal is getting wore down inside of your engine or components before and afterwards!

I'm sorry but motorkote does not recommend using 100% motorkote in your engine? You should only be using 2 oz of motorkote 4 quart of engine oil in your engine to begin with! The engine oil carrier in motorkote is not the same thing as the synthetic that you buy on the market or from Walmart or your favorite store or online? It's only a carrier for motorkote! Therefore you made a mistake by using a hundred percent motor code when you said have only added to ounces per quart or maybe three for commercial use! Next time read the instructions on the bottle

I also contacted motorcoat before I did the 100% to see what kind of carrier oil and it's just a generic oil. You might see some of my other videos where I put motor coat in the transmission and used it in various vehicles as far as following directions no one gave me directions to swap out my NiCad 230V Prius hybrid battery for lithium but I went ahead and did it anyway

It extends the life of all metal to metal working parts inside of your engine transmission power steering transfer case and rear differential by coding all metal to metal Parts with motorkote super-slick Hyper lubricant there is no more metal-to-metal contact and less than motorkote has been warned off which in this case they recommend replacing it every other oil change in the engine or in this case every time you replace the transmission fluid transfer case or rear differential fluid

It turns acidic over time. It's best to use in Motoroil and fluids that get changed by 10,000 miles. I wouldn't run it in a transmission if you plan on never changing that fluid in 150k, but fine if you'll change it in a reasonable amount of time. I run it in my cars, boats, and lower unit oil cases on boats.

They have there own methods. Before using anything I've never had an engine wear out. Always the car would wear out first. At 300,000 miles I have always gotten another used car.

Motorkote reacts badly with aluminum parts in a engine. it creates a port blocking black sludge.
