Nothing to be surprised... Getting back to their roots is their compulsion... It is well known to them that in the past at some point I'm time... their forefathers were converted to Isam at the pain of death, greed, deceit and/or persuasion. Since, Saudi Arabia is getting back to her roots, therefore, these Pakistanis have no choice other than to get back to their roots. Getting back to the roots is gradual, constantly long process. Distancing from Islam would be the first step to the journey of getting back to their roots. They have only one choice i.e. either get back to your roots or get lost with the wind.

As a Pakistani living in America, Yes, Pakistan definitely needs its own version of Mohammed bin Salman, a bold and visionary leader who can modernize the country, crack down on extremism, and revitalize the economy. One of MBS’s most significant moves was cutting off funding to Wahhabi mosques that were spreading extremist ideology, both inside and outside Saudi Arabia. Pakistan has long struggled with similar extremist influences, many of which were once supported for strategic reasons but have now become a threat to national stability. A strong leader could crack down on extremist funding, reform religious institutions to promote a more tolerant version of Islam, and dismantle militant groups operating within the country. On the economic front, Saudi Arabia is moving away from oil dependency through Vision 2030, while Pakistan remains stuck in a cycle of debt, relying on the IMF, China, and Gulf countries for bailouts. Pakistan needs leadership that prioritizes economic diversification, industrial growth, and long-term stability instead of short-term political gains. Without such reforms, the country will continue to struggle with instability, extremism, and economic stagnation.

I agree 100% with you. If Pakistanis keep working on themselves, like getting modern education, having intellectual debates & having scientific temper without mixing religion ( Islam, christianity etc) into it and always keep empowering themselves, it will automatically raise the Nation to a better, peaceful & developed Country. I feel, On the other hand, no one person like MBS Or Imran Khan or a new Prophet, could change Pakistan's destiny. It can be changed only when People collectively take the responsibility to better themselves, which in turn will take their Nation to a better level.

Pakistan adopted Saudi Arabia’s religious path, but unfortunately, extremism later became a significant setback for Saudi Arabia itself. It is essential to recognize that extremism is not Islam. When culture was overly intertwined with religion, it hindered the true essence of Islam in Saudi Arabia. Moderation is the true spirit of Islam. Another crucial point is that Saudi Arabia has always stood by Pakistan with a sense of brotherhood and solidarity. Now, as Saudi Arabia encourages collaboration through project-based initiatives, this coordination and cooperation mark a progressive and mutually beneficial approach. Vision 2030 is a remarkable roadmap for Saudi Arabia’s future, and we are steadfastly moving forward with it. Rumors will always circulate, but they should not be given undue attention. The trajectory Saudi Arabia is following is evident to those with a perceptive and insightful mind. Regards, Dr Sameera Aziz Saudi Media & businesswoman Jeddah-KSA

Islam doesn't advocate for women empowerment. There is no concept of women authority over a state, city or nation. Infact, it is banned for a women to be head or an authoritative figure. Child marriages. Kilin & persecution of those who leave Islam. If these aren't extreme. Then what is extremism. Please enlighten us?

Syed, brother you have wisdom, courage & vision to lead a generation out of its unfortunate suicidal tendencies. I wish you the very best, please keep up with the good job u r doing. I am an Indian, been living & working in Saudi Arabia for close to a decade & some of my best friends are Pakistanis. My grandparents, including my dad who was a 10-yr-old, had to flee their lands & home in Village Chakk No. 88, Chichawatani back in 1947, they became refugees in their own country. Some day this story will see the light of the day… anyways, your reference of Saudi Arabia in this presentation is spot on, we have been living this transformation each day for the last one decade. Also, thank you for talking about India in a kinder vein. My hometown in Indian Punjab is just an hour’s drive from Lahore, how much me & a generation of my peers dream of a day we could drive to Lahore for dinner, but I guess unfortunately this might never happen. However, love & best wishes to you for the lovely work you are doing 💐
