Hollywood producers knew that the messages people absorb via film, television, and music are hugely impactful - and they took their influence seriously. Yet at the same time, censorship is wrong, Censoring art is the equivalent of censoring a person's own mind.

That's the beauty of great cinema. You can like or even love characters who're the kind of persons you would still never wanna know in real life
