Another idea to connect to Magic Mountain: a radio tower near the top that acts as an anchor point (and hidden bubblevator) for a big hovercraft that's parked there and hanging over the city. Bonus--any parts under the hovercraft would be darkened in a very cyberpunky permanent midnight.

Neither is “wrong”. So fun fact you should get Cleo. Involved. She messed around. With TFC back in season, 6 or 7 when. They actually built the bunker from fallout. It was really elaborate. That's about the time his health took a nose dive. I think it was the season where you kept building the Pyramid that you couldn't decide the color of.

ATM Idea...use a shulker box loader. When box is full light comes on. Excess dye unable to go into box go's to overflow to be destroyed. Once some one steps on the pressure plate and the box is full the hopper locks, shulker breaks and new one is dispensed. Full shulker goes to an auto unloader to have contents to be destroyed and box recycled into the system. You would need two loaders and one unloader below. What do you think?

I think the bunker in the mountain sounds awesome. But you should make sure that your central area in your base (storage system/ crafting area) has a large window that overlooks the city. So you can see the progress over time!

Man i don’t often post ideas especially on vods cos i never feel like they gonna be seen, but i had to make a note of this one. Impulse… if you hate a lack of symmetry, you can 100% make cyberpunk symmetrical, cyberpunk has specific themes and elements but ‘visual chaos and asymmetrical’ are not hardwired in. While im not entirely sure it’s technically cyberpunk, Fritz Lang’s Metropolis is certainly of a related genre, and has heavily symmetrical imagery in many parts. You could go down that route in any number of areas Especially in focal points such as an important skycraper, without it being odd. More importantly to break it up: a building may be symmetrical but things like dirt, posters, bins etc… might not be, which breaks up the visual effect. Considering cyberpunk is often about asymmetrical power dynamics, using symmetry and deliberately breaking it in specific ways might actually work more in your favour than just just avoiding it entirely. It also has strong transhumanist elements, so invoking themes of symmetry (think the bilateral symmetry of the body, the brain) and then breaking that (cybernetics, visors etc…) could also play a role in your builds. And while not a criticism of the game i would Highly recommend filtering “2077” from google images when looking up cyberpunk inspo, it’s flooded the search with very surface level over used visuals. Cyberpunk has an Incredible history and has changed a lot over the years. (Also make sure you’re filtering out AI generated hits cos god it’s a mess out there now) Some other mainstream cyberpunk stuff worth looking at: GiTS; Akira; The Matrix (obviously;P); Tron; Neuromancer. Edit: if you’re looking at Fallout for inspo too, maybe check out the art deco heads, or art deco in general, this is more of a eldritch theme in fo4, but, art deco connects strongly with cyberpunk also (with overlap with steampunk and in contrast to solarpunk’s art nouveau, so it could connect you, tango, joel and pearl nicely-these genres are siblings after all)

My opinion for how you get into the bunker would be a glass/glowing bridge that extends from the bunker when a button is pressed in the base. Looks like a halo ish hardlight bridge and seems possible via redstone to me. Can use those lights you love so much

Not really a redstoner, so unsure if this could be done instead. Perhaps the light should be timed after the item is taken out? Like time it when it should at least had stored 10 lvls worth or some other lvl milestone since it doesn't make sense to cap it.

You could have the entrance underground through the ground floor of the building, then have an exit (or an alternate entrance, as it goes) on the side of the mountain somewhere toward Gem's base that looks like a Vault.

I like both versions tbh. Honestly I watch the stream and then as soon as the edited video I go and watch that too. Even if it's TECHNICALLY the same content the way its edited makes it feel brand new to me. And I love watching the streams for the processes where in the videos it's often time-lapsed which I also love. I love the switch indicator suggestion from Gem for Skizz. That would be really funny. More seriously though, if detecting the pull of xp won’t work, then how about just calculating the amount of time the furnace has been smelting? Build a timer that takes however many hours worth of smelting you want for a baseline and once that is reached then have it turn the indicator light on. You’ll still need a mechanism for resetting the clock, but at least you’d now have an indicator that the baseline xp draw is ready.

Impulse, how many items cooked to make 30 levels? Ok, that in a chest. When it reaches that many items comparator signal out to turn the light on. Furnace always cooking, light on to show when it's ready. When player steps on pressure plate to lock the furnace to pull an item out and get XP, it flushes the chest turning the light off

Hey Impulse, You could pretty seamlessly do a Fallout Style vault, you just need to make the lore that its from a time before the cyber punk city was built, and make it kind of a Blast from the Past style of thing, like people built the shelter because they thought the world was ending and had no idea a Cyberpunk city was built on top of them.

You have to do some science and figure out how much cactus do you have to smelt to get 30 levels and count the number of smelting cycles needed for it to switch on the light BUT keep smelting the cactus. The light will be like a minimum level indicator so that people know if they want to enchant if they have to wait longer to get 30.

"Weekly's fine" ... 1. Your mental health is more important than any video, obviously. 2. Your stream replays equal about six videos per replay. Personally, I watch everything but prefer the stream replays. So, if you do one video and minimum two HC stream replays, that is 6 1/2 hours of HC content. That doesn't include the podcast or a third weekly stream or the Phasmo streams or the Friday night streams, etc. I'd say you're covered. :) That being said, you could upload a video and a three-hour stream replay every day and it wouldn't be enough for me. Then again, I'm addicted to the smiles, laughs, fun, relaxing and wholesome entertainment. Love your face. :)

Hey Impulse If you are still looking for a neat way to open the door here is one I once did: 1. Dig a hole three or four blocks long under the door with a pressure plate on the far side of it as seen from outside the door 2. Fill it with chickens enough that there is always a chicken on the pressure plate which gives you a signal output 3. Take out seeds to make the chickens come towards you leaving the pressure plate and the signal will turn off This can be your trigger for the door. The seed can ofcourse also be made to look like something else to keep the mystery, my suggestion is a *In Leeloo voice* Multipass :) You can use multiples of these and connect to an AND gate to make it so you have to be in a very specific area, even one particular block, for it to work. But as default it has a pretty okay range probably around 8 blocks and does not require them to see you so its stealthy. Hope it helps! Since the green dye drains to a hopper, couldn’t you have it drain into a barrel and once it it gets x amount a light turns on? Then when you hit the pressure plate to lock & grab the items reset everything and drain the barrel to trash?

Yes, I’m here for the chil vibes. The whole reason I watch hermitcraft is becouse of you and the other hermits vibes. The uptempo high energy Minecraft contents creators just is not relaxing for me. I love the balance you all found, high energy when high energy exiting things happen. And more chill vibes and hanging out. I am glad you are reflecting on the difference between the streams and your main channel videos. I am an older viewer, (lots older - older than you :P ) so I know my preferences are very different from others here. Nonetheless, for me I like story, but I don't mean a fully planned out lore filled story line, like you would think, (I don't mind those, but it doesn't have to be all that.) I really enjoy more of a natural story that develops as you play on a Minecraft world with other people. Think about all of the early Minecraft KZbinrs who were so popular.
