Justin is probably frustrated due to the poor input handling from flycast. I know the author has improved things somewhat, but when you're getting hit with basic stuff like jump HK into sweep on a 30ms connection and both sides are wired, something is wrong.

Fun fact: Out of all the characters in this game, Kyosuke is the only one that originated from a 3D fighting game. I guess it wasn't an easy task for the devs to turn him into a 2D character. Batsu and Hinata are there as well, so that's pretty neat.

@extremepop324 Kyosuke is part of the main character team and had ties with the main antagonist. They probably chose him because they wanted a main character (and I guess he deviated from the basic shoto archetype a bit more than the other two Taiyou student).

Instead of Kyosuke, they should've brought in Hyo, Kyosuke's brother. He would've balanced out SNK's sword fighters and didn't have to rely on the 'main character' picks.

Each groove is modeled after either a Capcom or SNK fighting game. Go check a wiki, the groove system adds a lot of depth and versatility to the game. 48 characters times 6 grooves.
