It does. A lot of it needs a reboot. I think it would be cool if they would allow the fanbase/world do a vote on what is considered cannon. If the acolyte and sequels for example were just "fan" film/series, they wouldn't bother me as much.

​@@KennySparksYTsomeone that cares about the lore of Star Wars. I tend to think of it this way, "if this wasn't Star Wars, would the story be interesting?" Typically, the answer is no. You want someone that cares and nourishes the story to grow it, rather than challenge it. You can challenge some ideas at a time, but you need to respect it. If not, it is just another random syfy universe to be forgotten.

@@humbermg I wouldn’t take someone making decisions you don’t like to mean they don’t care. There’s this notion that everyone in a fandom wants the same thing. That’s simply not true. I do agree with the idea of “Would I care about this if it wasn’t Star Wars”. That’s a very important question because if not you might just be trying to be a completionist which can often lead to suffering through stuff you wouldn’t normally

@@KennySparksYT I am not that simple minded that if I don't like it is bad. I talking in a narrative story, making sense of it. TLJ was a good movie, just a terrible Star Wars movie. If the owners of the franchise don't care about their characters, then why should we? They just want to turn it into something that it is not, changing the lore and what not. And there is where it starts to lose me

They just need to fire Kathleen Kennedy. And unless Filoni is willing to correct course, he needs to be fired too. The ONLY thing she got right was Rogue One. Diversity has NEVER and WILL never be the strength of ANYTHING! What makes something great or not is having the BEST people on your team REGARDLESS of any of that. It's about hiring the BEST people.

@@KennySparksYT diversity for diversity’s sake is cutting off your nose to spite your face brother. If you hire the BEST people and you HAPPEN to have a diverse group then I ok. But hiring with that in mind or compiling a team just for the sake of saying you are diverse is pandering. If I am starting a business and I need 10 people for 10 different roles and I interview 100 people, I don’t care if I end up with 10 gay people or 10 black people or whatever, I AM NOT GOING TO CARE. I want the 10 best people for those positions REGARDLESS of their racial, religious, sexual preferences. Your identity is NOT what makes you special. It’s your CHARACTER, your integrity, your intelligence, ability and desire to learn and achieve that is going to matter to me. Diversity for its own sake is just as useless as someone who would hire people let’s say because they were all white or all Christians or all straight. I personally think that all questions on a job application relating to race, religion, gender etc. should be removed. None of that should matter. It’s about your talent and ambition and dedication.
