If I were Sam, I would appeal to Head Judge for the ruling for Question #3, as I do not think the ruling given out here is correct. If we go by the latest OCG printing for "Burst Stream of Destruction", using OCG card formatting, it would read something like this: Your "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" cannot attack the turn you activate this card. ①: Can be activated when there is a "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" on your field. Destroy all monsters on your opponent's field. Notice how the card text for "Burst Stream of Destruction" is structured. OCG cards always make it a distinction to put all activation conditions and limitations before listing the effects of what a card does, if applicable. Going by this logic, the drawback for using "Burst Stream of Destruction" is NOT a lingering effect, but rather a condition that restricts the player from taking a certain game action. In other words, even if the controller's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" is rendered unaffected by card effects, that player controlling the "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" still CANNOT attack, because the restriction for using "Burst Stream of Destruction" lasts the ENTIRE turn for the player, akin to how "Red-Eyes Fusion" and "Lava Golem" work. TDRL; Sam should be rewarded full points for Question #3, as I believe the ruling issued out for this question is incorrect. The rulings that say "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" is allowed to attack the turn "Burst Stream of Destruction" is activated if "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" is unaffected by other cards and effects as outlined on Yugipedia is OUTDATED. The rulings page on Yugioh Fandom Wiki outlines it as such.

Biggest hing with the 1st question, it says "becomes zero" not that it has to lose a certain amount. That effect can always happen whether the attack is equal to zero or not. Because it becomes Zero, whether it is already zero. Now if it said it loses attack, that would be different.

Can you clarify on question #7? Twin Burst says "when this card attacks", but if it activates in the GY, it's not the same card that was on the field declaring an attack. That also makes me wonder how it can activate in the GY in the first place if it isn't the same card as on the field.

I think it's like there are 2 cards/versions. The one that attacked is still remembered even though it goes to the GY. And then there's the GY card which also forgets its past and is like a new baby.

This was the easiest quiz yet, these were master duel questions except the one with dragoon and blue eyes ultimate alternative dragon. I found the super poly question interesting because I once tried almost that same play with Buster blader to fuse dark magician to make a dark paladin with Destruction Swordsman Fusion but since he had enteral soul active I couldn’t activate the card.

The 4th example would work the way he said if activates the poly first and he responds with eternal soul, because he would have. Had a legal move when he played it but unable to target dark magician it would do nothing.

You cannot respond to Super Poly. The smarter play would be already having Eternal face up so your opponent Super Poly will resolve without a Fusion Summon because "DM" is unaffected by your opponent's card effects.

Burst stream's attack restriction is a condition. If an unaffected blue-eyes attacks, burst cannot be activated in main2. If burst is used in main1, even an unaffected blue-eyes shouldn't be able to attack.

You can use super poly on the dark magician knight you tribute it for the cost to use superpoly for the fusion. I know it works because on master duel I had a cyberdark end dragon which is unaffected by my opponents activated effects and my opponent used super poly on it and his stupid monster to go in to a lame swamp dragon.... you tribute the monsters for the cost to summon something else it doesn't matter if its unaffected. Tributing unaffected monsters is the only way there affected

Ya do NOT tribute the material for cost when it comes to Polymerization or any fusion spell (unless specified) for that matter, ya simply send the material to the GY "Unaffected by Activated Effects" is NOT the same as "Unaffected by Card Effects". Also, if ya have the option to go into another fusion (say 2 DARK monsters on your field), ya would indeed be able to activate Super Polymerization but ya will not be able to use your opponent monster that is "Unaffected by Card Effects" and instead be forced to summon Starving Venom or any other applicable targets.
