I do appreciate you talking on topics like this even if some think they’re pointless. These conversations fascinate me even if they’re not the most important to cover.
@jamesarthurreed4 ай бұрын
Agreeing with you in principle, I think that while there are topics of greater import in certain contexts, this is part of us engaging a lost world with the gospel of Christ and his plan of salvation in showing that regardless of current "scientific" hypotheses and theories being posited by some in opposition to the faith of Jesus Christ, this faith which was once delivered unto the saints is still just as relevant and needful today.

I believe these topics are important that we understand how to break it down for people because there will be some that will come with questions like this, and it just gives us some guidance on how to address these kinds of questions or topics without really giving them a straight answer because like he said we don't really know what's out there. Praise GOD I'm so thankful for David K. Bernard, he is such a wise man with so much experience when it comes to breaking things down. I enjoy this channel. I get notified any time they put out a new episode👍😁

While the premise of the question may seem silly, the question itself is important - what is the nature of our universe, and how did it come into existence? The Bible takes time to discuss this subject, so it certainly isn't pointless. (Podcast Production Team)

Great explanation! Love it! It amazes me just how God is so very big and incredibly all knowing. Most intelligent. Thanks be to God that he loves us and that he made us. He died for our salvation and sins. Thank you Brother Bernard for sharing your wisdom and knowledge that God gave to you! God bless you! I love all your Podcasts etc. I remember my late Mom always reading her Bible and going about her business throughout the day quoting scriptures to us kids (5), and my dear Dad gave us a great example to follow God through his preaching and praying. My parents taught us to fast also. We had many prayer meetings in our home. God is love and God is amazing! We seen a lot of miracles in our lives and others. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I loved this talk! i always saw it based on quantum theory that there are multiple "futures" based on what you could considered as micro-actions. i'd like to think that God sees every potential future and guides our actions based on the best outcome but that can also get pretty deep. Great talk!

First scripture that came to me was: James 1:8 "A double minded man is unstable in all his ways." I think Bro. Bernard will agree with me this would be a large book with multifaceted tendon's if written. It would create more subjects than this discussion that would be fruitless to ponder.
@jamesarthurreed4 ай бұрын
This is an important topic for brother Bernard to discuss in that there are those who are considering it, and in this, we are to "be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear" (1 Peter 3:15). This type of discussion is needed to answer the naysayers who misuse and abuse science in their "oppositions of science falsely so called" (1 Timothy 6:20): we are to avoid this and teach others the same. Even as some without the faith are using this to deny God, we don't go to science for the answers to our spiritual needs-we have the Spirit and the scriptures-and we ought to help others realize the same with the use of sound doctrine and Spirit led reason in the power of the Holy Ghost as we exalt the name and person of our Lord Jesus Christ. _Edit: Corrected typos_

Hey Dr. Bernard, I am a oneness believer but I do have one question. I’ve heard Trinitarians say that God can only be love if there is a trinity. This is because before creation the “Father, Son,” and “Spirit” loved each other. Have you heard this argument and what would be your take on this?
@TalonKieffner4 ай бұрын
He’s got so many points that say rebuttal. I would highly recommend his books on oneness available at Pentecostal publishing house.

@@davidjanbaz7728 That’s funny. The Bible never mentions the trinity, or triune God, three in one, or Holy Trinity. ONE GOD IN JESUS Who is JESUS?..He is God.. Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Em-man- uel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Matthew 1:23 WHO IS JESUS? Jesus is the word made flesh.. WHO IS JESUS? Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: Zechariah 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. Mark 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. (Here God calls the Son, "God") Please read the whole chapter. In Colossians chapter 1, we are told "who" Jesus is. He is the image of the invisible God, and He made all things in the heavens and in the earth. How does the first book in the Bible start? Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. It goes on to tell all that God made. You might want to read all of Colossians chapter 1, Colossians chapter 2, Romans chapter 1, just to mention a few. Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: Even Jesus claimed to be God in so many words. The Jewish Rabbis certainly knew that's what Jesus claimed. Unlike modern skeptics, the Jewish rabbis never denied that Jesus made the claim that He was God. Instead, they called Him a liar, and tried Him for blasphemy. John 10:30 I and my Father are one. John 10:31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. John 10:32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. There are many other books of the Bible that tell us who Jesus is, but the ones I've listed are enough to prove to me who Jesus is. What say ye? Jesus is God John 1:1 In the Greek In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, AND GOD was the Word. God created by speaking. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us. 1 Timothy 3:16 (KJV) 16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Isaiah 9:6 (KJV) 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

I don't know if you read these comments. I hope you do because I would like to ask if you have read the books of Dr. Chuck Missler. He was a scientist and a bible scholar. He died not too long ago. He was not apostolic, but you can't discount his great knowledge of the Bible and it's teachings. I'm not sure what his religion is but he was trinitarian, which I found so odd given some of his writings. He is known for his belief that scientific "facts" can be backed up by the Bible. I would be interested in your opinions of his writings. He is of the same opinion that the universe is too unique and complicated to just randomly happen and that it was planned down to the nth degree to support human life and that God is the author of the entire universe. I think you would find his books as fascinating as I do.

Maybe I'm just reaching for a solution, but, rarely, people are born as twins who look exactly alike but are still two different people with different lives and spirits. I doubt the multiverse is a thing, as if it were, why would we have twins here since each twin would have their own copy, infinitely. I hope that makes some sense or connection to all of this multiverse stuff.
