No-one would have a problem with the traditional view if it wasn't for the 'supposed existence' of an alternative doctrine of origins, predicated upon the assumption of the high antiquity of man. Evangelicals need to properly scrutinise the arguments in favour of a high antiquity of mankind, and not be content to take that assumption as a given, especially as a given for the ancient writers of the Bible. I do not believe, based upon this clip, Tremper comprehends the 'scientific' arguments levied against a lower antiquity of mankind, and I do not approve of the dismissive remark about Romans 5: what evidence is there that Paul did NOT believe in a historical Adam exactly. Be careful what you deny.

@lary Snwseriously, how can you say that, you are so wrong, many different methods are used to date lets say a dinosaur bone, the different tests all gave the same answer and its a dates the earth a lot older than the bible does, its people like you that slow us down, keep us mired in myth and legend, not truth and fact like science tries to find

It is so wonderful to see Christians who are able to reconcile faith with science. Even as someone who doesn't believe, I can definitely respect this point of view! Way to go! Keep up the good work!
