Something that you said which I completely agree. The turning of the cube feels scratchy. And I will also add on that it has the dry feeling. I used weight 5 on the core and springs, and candy cane on the tracks and pieces. No matter how much lube I add, I just cannot get the cube to feel gummy or buttery smooth, which is what I prefer. After a certain point, there is so much lube that the cube slows down instead. Quite frustrating...

I guess it's supposed to protect the colors from fading or changing because of sunlight. Which sounds pretty useless to me, but on such a pricey stickerless cube, you want it to last as long as possible... until you buy another one in 6 months.

Uh @SpeedCubeShop there's actually a tool to place the hex magnets in without breaking your hands. Its my idea :) Use the Blue nut and place it on the hex magnet and twist! Its super easy and Ingenious! I hope you will use this method to place the hex magnets :)
