@@AzraelThanatos iirc the Pixy itself was a ground type only Grandpa Gundam without a core fighter built in and anyone can handle it, old type or a newtype. The Alex was built in mind for him as Gramps was beginning to show slowness before the ABQ finale

The beam sabers on the back also fits with newer beam effect parts, so the molded beam saber isn't a big problem

Yes this is true! A large contributing factor for it looking a bit toyish. The backpack thrusters could've been molded in the grey runner.

Yes I am hunting for a not overpriced HG Tristan! I had one sitting on cart on our local shopping app for a while but it got sadly bought by others by the time I was gonna buy it. Hopefully Bandai would reprint it.

Hey, Great video, and I have to say I really see the potential In this kit for learning to scribe, repaint and all of that. What I would have liked to see at the end would be the kit panellined and top coated for reference. Just a suggestion the video is still fun😁 Have a good one

Thank you. I had planned on doing it on the kits but I opted for them to be just straight built for the Appreciating Gunpla videos to appreciate the kits as is. But the idea is not disregarded. Perhaps in our future videos! Or they'll be a category of their own.

@ hey, I totally get that, and I appreciate that the kit is shown in its “natural” state. It would have just been nice as a visual reference when you talk about panel lining and top coating and the difference that it could bring. A extra category would be a cool idea, like what you can get out of these older kits with a little effort. Keep it up!

These reviews are very good. What's the oldman voice you're using from? And will you be looking at other OYW suits like the HGUC DOM? I heard that it's very well regarded by japanese builders.

Thank you very much! But I'm not really proud of using AI voice as it goes against my ethics as an artist. Using it only marks me as a hypocrite. The only reason I'm using it is I'm not confident fully voicing my videos yet and gets my ideas done for now. But If you want to know the voice, he's called Edward in a site with "labs" As for the HGUC Dom, It's already built and it's down the lineup of my uploads so stay tuned! I didn't know it's very well regarded in Japan! this is good to know.

Thank you very much! Believe me, I am not proud of using the AI voice too as an occasional artist. That is why I am personally speaking every end of the videos as afterword to give you guys some familiarity if I ever decide start narrating the videos myself fully. But for now, it gets my ideas done and I'm not confident on my voice yet and also time constraints. But I'm heading in that direction just gradually.

The ALEX was a decent HGUC kit until they recycled it's runners on the HGUC tristan
