i just start playing the indigo disk finally and it being doubles threw me off so bad. I spent 3 hours training up a team because I’m terrible at doubles. I kind of wish there was a setting before the game starts or in the options to make all battles double because i actually had to think and craft a decent team to play through the ID with.

It’s a double-edged sword for sure. On the one hand, Indigo Disk was pretty alright. But on the other hand, it suggests that Game Freak was capable of putting out decent content all along - they just didn't do it until they'd gotten as much money as possible out of hyping it up. Given how bad Teal Mask was in comparison, I kinda feel like the only reason they released it separately was so they could promote the DLC more often and over a longer period of time. That would also explain why they released Mochi Mayhem on its own at a later date, rather than simultaneously with Indigo Disk. To be fair maybe that's just me jumping to conclusions and assuming the worst. I just wouldn’t be surprised is all. Awesome vid, hilarious commentary as always! "It doesn't matter who I'm facing... @@galacticjack the thing that has helped me thru this shitty time in pokehistory is actually battling online. For some reason, I never did that before. Gives you motivation to want to play and get better at the game when it's actually hard. Only downside is a lot of people just use 6 legendaries on their team and it can get repetitive and unoriginal.

Is it just me or does pokemon now like some stupid gacha game franchise even outside of there crapoy mobile games they pull the same tricks the story is the same kind of tropey crap there even bringing in relationship drama what the heck before pokemon games were grander sure you usually didn't play for the story but atleast everything had some weight to it felt like your actions genuinely influenced the very fate of the nation you were in and its people you fought actual terrorists everything atleast tried to be serious how did we go from two titans embodying the power of the very planet to some shitty turtle that influences nothing and commands no respect or awe and is just there to be some cutesy mascot archetype. How did we go from N to to some angsty fanfiction character. Atleast with gladion he had valid reasons for that level of edge attitude.
