Brets are a FLC faction, but it be nice if they got some sorta race mechanic like waaghh and demon globals. Only having 2 hero option (besides felix and gotrex) is kinda sad. Like Skaven have.. 3 mages, chieftain, packmaster, assassin and warlock lol. Not sure what lore wise they have, seen Bretonnian son from a mod. More lores of magic be helpful, only having access too 3 is rough, maybe getting light and shadow.

One thing I suggested for Bretonnia's "Battle meter ability" --> Charges up by "losing in combat" Tier 1 ability : unbreakable (and unkillable?) for some seconds. Tier 2 ability : favour of the lady map-wide buff for all knight units Tier 3 ability : green knight summon In terms of lores of magic, Brets should definitely get access at least to Light (with Fey getting a mix of Light and Life) ; fire, death, metal & shadows don't really seem "in character" for them, though I would love it if they (somehow) got access to High magic In terms of a third hero choice, CA (and GW) could literally go so basic as to simply have a Paladin - Sword (anti-inf) and Paladin - Lance (anti-large) ; it would be great if they could get an "ability caster" though (like a Warrior Priest or Patriarch)

Had to check what on the Dawi roster had Immune against Pychology. Units: Longbeards, Slayers (Unbreakable), Bugman's Rangers, Peak Gate Guard and Norgrimlings Ironbreakers. Lords: Ungrim Ironfirst (Unbreakable), Grombrindal (Unbreakable), Runelord (Rune of Hearth & Home) and Thorek Ironbrow (Rune of Hearth & Home). Not sure if it's a lot or a bit lacking in some way but at least with Rune of Hearth & Home you can give all allies within 55m Immune to Psychology. Had to check on more thing. Why does the Flame Cannon only have 230 range?!

Campaign only players: "You mean the Grail Reliquae isn't just a meme?!" No it's not, when you do not have campaign buffs boosting your worthless infantry, you need to use the actual dedicated support units that were designed for the roster to do it.

the problem is not the reliquae its the fact that u can go for the best cav ingame or some GIGA useless pesants... campain is not about value trading its about crushing ur enemy. when the fight is even u did a lot of things poorly in the first place. and thats also the reason why i love mp on yt. all the useless shit i woud never get in campain is awesome when u flip the wincondition.

Bull Centaurs might be better than Dragon Ogres, but Dragon Ogres are arguably overcosted as it was, so that's not necessarily as big a problem in the greater scope of the game as it seems.

@@leojohn1615 yes, also those cheap, shitty pikemen could do some real work on those 1450 bulls because their armor is shit and it's a solid match up. That's why the cdwarf player tried shooting them off early so he could have the Bulls run free. Also, if you've played ogres you'd understand how Bretonnia doesn't have the best cav anymore, even if they are a cav faction. Regardless of what faction, match ups are more important, and knowing what's good against what is part of that.

Seems the opponent decided to commit his Bull Centaurs versus your peasants, got significantly damaged by your Paladins and then got them charged into oblivion. Then later on at the other capture point he made the mistake of leaving them isolated with your own cavalry on standby... easy GG right there. I'll repeat my comment from your HE vs Chaos Dwarfs video: factions with fast units are a major problem for CD especially if the CD player spreads out some of their key units too far: they will just get picked off and they are unlikely going to reinforce with new units on time to capitalize on potential gains from a strong early push. Another issue I see is that some CD players think it's smart to leave their artillery/machines unattended when it just makes it very likely for them to get picked off as well. For one I think that most of the artillery/machine units will do better closer to the frontline as they are easier to support/save and if an enemy dives for it, those enemy units can easily get in a pickle between the artillery/machine and frontline CD units. In addition, overall I think CD players need to play a bit more conservative with their troops and not commit to/contest multiple capture points early. They need to march on one capture point and focus their artillery/machines and bull centaurs there, get that locked down and then approach the second one as you start summoning some reinforcements. Then if the opponent commits to a fight they could take heavily casualties as the CD units are much more likely to successfully support one another and then a potential lategame charge vs the last capture point may be an option, if needed. Lastly, unlike the HE Fireborn pick (which wasn't necessary) going for some heavy cav as Bretonnia makes more sense as you can easily get some peasants to balance the costs and just have the peasants take the charge of stuff like Bull Centaurs, then fix those engagements by countercharging with cavalry (as you did).

Magma cannons, bull centaurs and Astrogoth are OP. Gordo is in the ballpark since he just doesn't seem to be killable. The Ironglaives are ap missiles that can't really be shut down by cav with their anti large, Ironsworn are basically Ironbreakers but have ap grenades, main cd warriors are somewhere between D warriors and Longbeards. All the hobgoblin units are much better than you'd expect and wolf riders are like budget Elyrian Reavers. The whole roster is pretty solid imo

@@callumcochrane7759 Their whole roster is also extremely expensive and highly susceptible to magic or artillery. Ironglaves and Ironsworn get absoloutely demolished and cost a ridiculous amount. Hobgoblins suffer from leadership issues and are also pretty expensive for Goblin units. Only time will tell how strong they really are.

I feel every opinion of CD I’ve heard is quite the opposite, even from Turin. I guess if you want a slaanesh type faction that just rolls every other faction then sure CD is quite disappointing. However Turin himself has said they usually go 50/50 in most matchups he’s seen and that’s a really good place for a faction to sit in terms of multiplayer. I’m glad they seem well balanced with strengths and weaknesses and not just the usual power creep nonsense that just rolls other factions. Just my take though.
