Have to disagree with Simon on this one. His main issue seems to be Ryan And Rob's declaration in the show that if Wrexham didn’t get promoted then they were "doomed". There is a huge amount of dramatic licence going on here that Simon isn't accounting for. They're creating drama, to sell the show, to generate more interest, to increase fanbase and support, all of which generate more income for the club and support the long term goal which is further promotion and sustainability. They're making a TV show to promote the club. It works better if the stakes are higher. They're creating narrative. They're also spending plenty of money, and yeah, that should be a little scary, even for rich people.

Simon Jordan talks a lot of ill educated nonesense at times. Typical little rich boy attitude. An unsustainable business is exactly that. If failure to get promoted means it is unsustainable to any particular owner then that is what it is. They know the accounts and they know how much of their own personal wealth they can afford to lose, not Mr. Jordon. Wrexham have great owners, a fantastic manager, loyal fanbase that can easily be expanded by local Welsh people and others from surrounding areas like Cheshire and Liverpool because of the excellent road links, so sorry Simon, we're not in butt plug land. Plus, we're becoming really well known all over the US and the merchandise income potential is astronomical. At Ipswich our owners have been a real blessing! Have transformed the club in and out, massive updates to the stadium, new training facilities coming and invested heavily in the team and the infrastructure behind them… ofcourse they will always sell for big money should we make the premier league and manage to sustain it but the facts they’ve done so much compared to the previous ownership is worth it all!

Unpopular opinion but FSG should have came up in this conversation because of the major clubs in Europe they’re the only one that have had major success by doing smart business and running a profitable football club and done so scandal free without oil investment.
