A choir came to my long term care facility today to sing to my patients and they sang this song…I cried. Never heard it before but the lyrics are so powerful and I had to find it and listen to it again. I wish I sang this in chorus years ago when I was in high school. ❤❤

one of my friends is in this recording, and so our choir teacher had all the girls from 9-12th grade sing this song at one of our concerts, and I cried during this song. Love this song so much, the words are so powerful.

I’m about to perform this piece on violin with my daughter’s HS choir & I agree very much…. The linear harmonies lend very much to the lyrics and the message presented there. I think this is a very fitting and beautiful song for a choir about this age to sing. listen very closely to that message: find your tribe & vibe 🙌💜

I see a lot of people have done this song for choir as well. It was definitely my class’s favorite song we’ve ever done ❤️ It’s so beautiful. It did make me cry a few times. I usually don’t cry over songs but I did for this. I actually got the beginning solo so I listened to this song a lot to practice, but then I started listening to it cause I just love it ☺️ I know I will always look back on this song with happy memories, so thank you 🫶

I already love this song it was introduced to our class two weeks ago and I absolutely fell in love with the lyrics they have so much meaning, power, and passion. When I hear the choir split into four parts I get goosebumps every-time and I feel like everyone can almost relate to this song it’s so magical. Perfect combination of lyrics and music. The words are very powerful. It is easy for the violinist to get lost in the words but the beauty of the violin comes out and sings the melodic accompaniment. YESS THANK YOU At first I was like anoid and thoight it was just “another one of those” but then jt was comforting. And here is why: the way I would describe the voices of the world like you did is that I don’t suffer the right way. And that’s why the things that just say about the pain of not having the expectations of the world met. Because like I just feel like no one would care about what I suffer through and that they will only focus on the same pains people have. And I do have high expectations for myself because my pain is that I want to escape and find something higher than myself that is truely true. Because I feel trapped. That’s why I want to find God. And why I am serios about love. And this song spoke to me because the voices of the world just make me feel excluded and like there is nothing higher. Which like scares me because I am meant for something higher then myself. I mean wouldnt it be scary if everything was just a dream and all the people you loved were not real so you loved for nothing? That accually makes me feel better now that I aknowlage that. So satisfying to say 😌 Yeah I jusy have alot of confusion and voices in my head and the worlds voices that I hear outside turn into more voices in my ehad to bother me and be a misty whirlwind. Not auditory hillucenations. I’ve had a wrong diagnosis and theripy for not clearing that up XD it’s not hillicenations it’s like when you imagine voices in your head XD
