yep ! i agree.. ive heard there was a patent on that, which has recently run out.. which is how strike king just make their newest bait. wont be long before everyone does it

This looks like a nice bait BUT......the split ring connection is the problem. It doesn't start immediately and does get fouled up in grass more often. The jackhammer starts thumping immediately and I can usually pop it free from grass. I also like using painted blades that match the color I am throwing. I use two colors. Green pumpkin for clear water and black and blue for dirty water. This bait is not a visual bait in my opinion, it is the vibration that cause fish to eat it more often than not and the flashing blade doesn't look natural IMO. I can get jackhammers for less than 15.00 bucks and I rarely lose them so I am good with the price because I catch fish with them. Strike King's Thunder Cricket is out now and I think it has the direct connection but I want to see one before I buy any.

Yeah , the jack hammer patent has run out so everyone will be getting rid of the split ring here real soon .

If there is ever anything made better than the JackHammer I’ll buy them if they are $50 a piece. I have caught so many fish on them there are no skirts left hardly and the hooks are dull when I retire them. But I am going to get a couple of these and try them and really see if they can hang with the JackHammer.

looks like a good concept and it does have good action but it just doesnt have the searching action that the jackhammer has i believe zman perfected the jackhammer just wish they had it with the brush guard as i fish a lot of wood. tight lines!

It’s a good bait and will catch fish but it isn’t.. the JackHammer has prob won more money than any other bladed jig in the last 3 years. Cool Bait and it’s different and will catch fish but rival the jack hammer prob not. Great vid keep up the good work

the jackhammer has won some major tournaments, having the bigger name in zman surely helps.. do you think the jackhammer has something no other bait has to win these tournaments, or just the name for people to try and being well known?

BassMoore the connection from the blade to the head is the no 1 thing. Then again they have to pay zman like 3.00 a bait to do that. It starts instantly when you wind it and I think that is key

I have caught more bass on delta lures bladed jig than a jackhammer. I have straight the hook out on jackhammer as well. I haven’t never straight a hook out on delta lure so far. The rest of zman chatterbaits are garbage.
