I've been fishing for 35 years, and I still go back to those tiny little fishing spots I went to as a kid. I find it to be cleansing to the soul, and a bit sad at the same time. I still feel like that same little kid, but the touch of sadness comes from knowing that I'm not a kid anymore, and that some of the people I've known have passed and I will never fish with them again. But the memories and feelings it awakens are priceless, and it reminds me of not only where I came from, but of how much wonder and adventure the sport of fishing has brought to my life. Of all the possibilities that could have been my life, I can't think of anything that I would trade my little world of fishing for. Thanks for the videos!

I feel exactly the same when I go to fish on the Norfolk boards,those halcyon days when politics didn’t bother us and the media wasn’t full of lies etc,the time to escape on a bike with my fishing gear on the broads is priceless and worth every sacrifice I have to make to go back there ! I load my tent up and my rucksack every summer and spend a few days cycling about and fishing near the Lily pads and as I did 25 years ago and more and I feel exactly the same as I did then,if I don’t catch anything I go for a swim anyway and the world is good once again 😍

Same here I fished this year after 10 years !! Telescopic rods Ebike iv had so much fun 🤩 caught carp roach perch all sorts and went to a old place I used to go cefn Mabley lakes near Cardiff caught a whopping carp 9lb that’s a whopper for me 😂😂😂😂thank you guys 🤠

I was watching and when you went back to the pics of back then, I remembered a small, tiny creek in back of a local store that held tiny 1" soft shell crawdads. We put catfish and bluegill in there and for a few years, they thrived, It was only known to a hand full of boys and we had some awesome times. All but 2 of us are passed on now and I am the last one still fishing. The friends we make growing up fishermen, are unlike any others! Love the videos guys. Thank you
