I changed over to WFP just over a year ago and the answer is simply YES and any reservations are based on a lack of knowledge on how it works. The change has transformed my round and my reputation is even better than before. It has saved me time on first cleans and regular cleans as well as upvc and conservatory roof cleaning. While i still trad inside windows and shops, I'll never go back to only trad work.

Great job. Since you are now doing wfp full time, one piece of advice is to try and learn the best techniques of using the pole which puts the least amount of stress on your body. I know the poles are light but after a few years you can get shoulder and back pain, especially if you use the same hand all the time so learn how to use both hands. I always used my left hand on top so I got pain in my left shoulder and back (was also due to using a heavier pole which I would never recommend)

great vid Ash....yes the mat as mentioned by others, (you naughty boy)... i sometimes forget ..oops , another thing i always do is pull the door handle and lift the handle up to make sure the doors shut properly creating a seal so no leaks, even that may not work on old doors though, iv found that water can seep behind letter boxes as well, when customer opens the door when finished i always glance down and see if there are any puddles or leaks which may lead me to clean the door traditionally in future, look forward to next vid. tony

WFP works great! I just cleaned windows with just the water and brush that haven’t been cleaned in 8 years! The windows came out great, except I did have to go back over the windows with a razor and after they dried I scrubbed with a bronze wool pad in the corners. There was some deposits. But next time around will be a breeze!

I have been using the wfp for a few months now and I loved it so much. Just today I was cleaning windows for a new building, With new raisins which I just got them yesterday. However, upon drying those windows still has a little bit of water stains. I had to go back to do some touch ups with a squeegee. The brush is fairly new and a brand new bronze wool pad. So what Am I doing wrong. I have never had an experience like this. I trusted the wfp than my squeegee. I thought may be because the windows are brand new. But wfp is a game changer.
@aemackintosh
@aemackintosh 5 жыл бұрын
Allan Kilevo If it’s a first clean on new windows there could be a lot of dirty sitting in places around the frames that you don’t realise, and it seeps out later when you have gone? Especially along the top of the frame. After a couple of cleans with wfp it should improve, but I think that doing touch ups the traditional way can only make it harder for the wfp next time.😃👍🏼

Is that a Gardiner brush? I think there are two or maybe three types of client. Youngsters are easy as they have no previous. Middle aged are tricky cos they want their pound of flesh. Elderly can be tricky cos they hate change. I offer trad or w.f.p. The trick is to let them know that trad will cost more. I guess there are always the type that see how good the job is and then change to every 8 wks. I even had one that asked for every three months!! And wanted to pay the same price!! So don't shoot yourself in the foot. Good vid.
