Chandler went from being the guy who hates thanksgiving, to the guy who made the cranberry sauce. The guy who was afraid of commitment and having kids to the guy who convinces Erica that he and Monica will be the best parents. His growth really was portrayed incredibly from start to finish.

Chandler speech to Erica is phenomenal. He’s a great husband and really praises his wife for her strengths. But it was such a touching moment. He’s always goofy and awkward but it really hits home when he gets sentimental.

Wearing the same shirt happened to me. We weren’t on a date, it was actually a friend. But I wore an oversized men’s shirt as a dress and he wore it as a regular shirt. We both looked at eachother and said where we got it from. It was a cool moment. We both looked great lol

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the writers did want to do a story-line about Chandler having an affair but Matthew Perry consistently shot them down and refused to do it because he said it didn't make sense because Chandler would never in a million years cheat on Monica, regardless of whether the writers intended for them to make up or nuke their relationship.

If you go back to season 3, right before the season finale - Monica & Chandler are sitting outside of Central Perk with everyone else waiting for Phoebe and the cab to go to the beach and Monica is being hard on herself when Chandler gives us the first "foretelling" of their relationship, when he tells her that if they both are still single (I believe he says 30) at a certain age, that he will marry her. Then flash forward to the ending credits of the Season 4's first episode where Monica & Chandler are eating dinner at Monica's table and the last thing we hear her say, "you'll always be the guy that peed on me!" Proving that Chandler really would do anything to make Monica happy or take away the pain.

10x09 was the first ep ever i saw of friends, more specifically the chandlers monologue scene. After the ep aired in the usa it would be running during the week on the warner channel here. I was in a doctors waiting room. I was a kid back them, i only realized what i watched when i watched the whole show years later lol i still have that memory tho

The fact that the writers wanted Chandler to cheat still blows my mind. But to the real discussion, Ross and the shirt. Most of my clothes are second-hand, so I would probably get very curious where the guy got the same shirt. I might be surprised or startled, but I don't think a guy in feminine clothes would make me skip a date. Full-on tattoo-covered goth would get a worse reaction because of a presumed incompatibility. A man in same clothes as me would mean sertain similarities in style, and that's important e.g. when furnishing an apartment together, so it can actually Be a very good thing
