Scary stuff for any kind of Animal bite in Asia... Symptoms of rabies usually take 3 to 12 weeks to appear, but they can appear after a few days or not for several months or years. Symptoms include: numbness or tingling where you were bitten or scratched. Glad you got sorted.

Lession to be learned here. Go to private hospital. Have a travel insurance. If I were you I would not care to save the hotel owner the money. It’s not your problem. It’s the dog owners responsibility.

Just go the the drug store and buy some pills, instead of getting the shots.
