Love this channel and Stacy's vibe. My😀 guy will not let me touch his feet yet. I might need a table and a loop. I'm getting ready for second Berner... Reccomend a breeder? I'm in So Cal. Thanks!

A table will definitely help you! I would reach out to the SoCal Berner Club, they are great! Rachel is the president and super helpful. (NorCal and Sierra West are great too!)

I wish you had grooming classes. I would totally pay for that! I don't have all the tools I need but I am scared I am gonna hurt my Buddy.

I left a similar comment on one of your other videos, but because I don’t know how youtube comments work I’ll leave it on this one because it’s more recent, but what would you recommend doing to introduce a new puppy to an older dog? My current dog is kind of skittish and I don’t know how he’ll react to my puppy. Thanks for the grooming tips, I’ll definitely do this with my puppy!

Slowly and make sure your older dog has their space away from the puppy. I also might not let them meet for a day, have an xpen or gate between them to get used to each other without interacting first.

My groomer tends to shave the under side of my dogs paw pads to the skin. I noticed that his skin between his pads get red. I asked that they trip the hair between the pads but not shave them. So my question, is it ok to shave the underside of the pads? Wonderful videos!!

Yes, it is okay, many groomers do it but they need to be careful not to give them razor burn and get too close to the skin. I trim with scissors, but it can be done well.

Hello I am very curious I got a Burmese mountain dog she is 11 months. I was wondering are you in Ontario close to Toronto or driving distance. I wanted to know if you could help me with bathing, trimming and so on. I would be happy to do a video with you as well. If there a way we can communicate please let me know. Thank you so much can't wait to hear back.

Hi Jessica, apologies for the delayed response (KZbin hides comments sometimes!) I am not in CAN but there are great groomers near you in Frankford. Pawlish Pet Spa...check them out!

It's so hard to focus on what she is saying! I just want to smother that dog in kisses! Ok. I'll try to focus this go round. How the heck did you get that dog on the grooming table??? My Mt Bernese isn't even a year old yet and he weighs over 120lbs. 😐 I bought a second hand grooming table but I can't get him up onto it! ☹ I wonder if they make a ramp or something.

Make sure he is lean, you don't want him having too much weight on his joints. I would first teach him "paws up" for his front feet to get up on the table and then you can boost him up.
