Okay, so here's my tips for the trailer: This is a very scary new thing for Maggie. She's in a confined space she doesn't know, and it's moving, and she can't see you for comfort! my best advice would be do your very best to make the trailer a safe, welcoming den for Maggie, especially if your plan is for her to look at it as her house. Prop some pieces of wood around the wheels of the trailer to make it stable and place it somewhere that Maggie already feels safe, someplace in your house, or in your room. Alternatively you can dismantle the wheels until you're confident Maggie feels good in the canvas part. Encourage her to see it as a calm place she can go to be on her own, you can look up tips for crate training for this.This is very important! Maggie might very well develop a bad association with the trailer and not want to ride in it at all. Good luck!

You have to bring down the yellow flap first and THEN put the black flap over the yellow flap which helps keep it in place , they are lovely dogs but then ALL dogs are

Food helps to create a positive association. And you can't rush to make that association. Just think that she has no idea what that is

Dogs are cool if they have company when left at home but I personally go every where with my girl as it concerns me that if there was a fire especially from Neighbors or a freak electrical or gas accident they could not get out and a dog door in the main door is too big and a human could fit through if they so desired leaving them vulnerable to dog theft so this is why we go every where together

I think travelling with Maggie to other countries is a lovely idea but lots of countries have a few month of quarantine for dogs. So not sure if its practical. You might be limited in your travels with Maggie now.

that Burley is way too small for my German Shepard. The trailer I got for mine he would wine as my Max is a walker but he can't walk long distance anymore due to his bad hip.
