well that is because Northrop Grumman was involved in the early phases of the JF-17's development before they left the project to be finished by Pakistan and China. the similarities with the F-16 are because Pakistan wanted a cheaper plane that it's existing F-16 pilots could easily transition to. this plane is literally part F-16, Part F-5, part Mig-29

The key to the Mig 29 and why she bounces around in pitch control turning is the trim, she requires trim in the turns. I suggest trim her to lvl or just above lvl at 950 to 980 km an hour. Because a lot of info are classified, especially for newer aircrafts. They can only estimate and update them with more accurate info as they go.

I got a reply from someone speaking on ED’s behalf or they work for them I’m not sure. Their steam name is “bignewy”. To cut it short the aim-120 and all other missiles will be getting more performance upgrades next year and ED are talking to Deka to have the SD-10 further nerferd. Performance wise the JF-17 was grossly overtuned on launch. It's essentially a budget version of the f-16 and it was better than the f16 so ofc a "nerf" was required.
