Funny, I just watched this movie yesterday.

Hah, what a coincidence! This isn't exactly one of my favourites as far as Asterix's animated adaptations go but I've always been intrigued by its somewhat sombre and almost melancholic atmosphere, plus I really fancy the soundtrack. Also, I'm still ever-so miffed that the UK dub never got a proper release, so we can't listen to Brian Blessed in hi-def.

As a kid, when I first watched this, I thought Obelix squashed Dogmatix lol

It looks that way, dunnit? The fact that it doesn't cut to Prolix at all after Dogmatix is shown whimpering... this scene is lined up pretty awkwardly.
