Hi Cowboys! Your videos are always good. So, once you leave if someone sees one of your cows. Do you go back and get them? Bye Gold tooth. Oh good happy to see him. And did you tell the lil cowboys? Wasn’t that who they rode? Thank you for the video.
@shawnjack8092Ай бұрын
Hi Cindi, we have great neighbors and we all watch out for each other. So yes if any of our cows show up, we will get a call. Gold tooth was a little to much for the little kids, but he is perfect for anyone over 10 yrs old. Hooray is more for the little ones. Thanks for watching have a great week

I kind of hate to see gold tooth go but sometimes you can’t keep them all but it makes it easier when you know he’s going to a good home especially when you’re going to get to see him quite often i bet it feels good to have everything home from Colorado
@shawnjack8092Ай бұрын
Hi Ronald, we hate to see him go too, it was a hard decision, but at the same time it was an easy decision. Kent's kids needed a good honest horse and those are hard to find. They help us so much, and we appreciate all they do, so it was fun to see him go to their house. Honestly it feels great to be back on the winter range and not have to fight cows on the neighbors. I love the desert!!!

Shawn you need to ware a Silk Wild Rag. Why is it called Texas Flat? That was a beautiful Sunset when you were trailing the cattle with the Bulls you found. The cattle look good and healthy. Does the Tree Phone still work?

@fleetskipper1810Ай бұрын
So nice to see those cattle line off down that road in an orderly fashion. Two questions I would like to have you answer whenever it’s convenient for you. One, have you ever been unable to find a cow or two and had to leave them up in Colorado country over the winter? Two, do you wear ear protection underneath your cowboy hat in the winter? It looks dang cold to have your ears hanging out like that. Mine would’ve frozen off by now. I really appreciate your sharing this spectacular country with us.
@shawnjack8092Ай бұрын
Hi, thanks for the questions. We have not ever left one for an entire winter, but we have been out picking them up from the neighbors in January and February. In the cold winter months I switch to a wool winter cap, that folds down over my ears. I am just not tough enough to wear my cowboy hat when it is really cold. I also use wild rags and neck gators to cover my ears as well. I dress as warm as I can, because most of the time I am out in it all day. Thanks again, and thanks for watching.

I was wondering how that storm at the beginning of the week was going to affect the ground there.. cows are smart enough to know bad weather conditions coming in..Good thing you got some smart ones🐂.. I can never say enough good things about working dog's...They are the corner stones of any livestock moving along with horses. It's the difference of a good day vrs a bad day.. So the question I guess is ,who will be the next new horse to become another gold tooth? What a great week for you. Winter looks to be a good one...feed wise❤
@shawnjack8092Ай бұрын
Hi, thanks for watching. Honestly I am not sure we can find another one like Gold Tooth, which is exactly why he will be great for Kent and his family. You know we had an alternative motive? with a good horse, they will come and help us more often!!! Thanks for watching
