That's the life. Used to do this. Not in as big country. Nothing like being on a good horse in God's country looking for cows with a group of good Cowboys. Great video.

Thanks for the ride along. Brand that maverick and put her back out with a herd. She'll get you a calf and pay for the trouble she's caused. Either that or 🍔. That's the rules of the range. 🙂

Thats.what I wondered, could he just brand her and put her back out with his cows?

❤🎉😮 Wow I nearly got sick watching the drive up that treacherous road lol holy cow 🐄. 😳 Must praise God before and after such a trek. 🙏♥️🙂 You were really flying chasing those rogue cows, pretty exciting 🐎🐎🤠 and another great movie. 🎥 Thanks for your videos!! ♥️🙂😍😊

I agree with all that! Love watching these videos. So thrilling to see Cowboys still exist in 2024.

Oh my gosh, that road!! I love mountains and driving through them, but just watching the video made me dizzy and a little queasy. Stay safe out there guys!

Awesome video thanks for taking us along on the cattle drive. That sure was a steep ride to the top of the mesa very cool 👍

The schedule 40 pipe is really tough stuff. Mesa seemed to do fine. I'm sure it helped that he was ponied out there first.
@thecamocowboyoutdoors569311 ай бұрын
I look forward to this show every week. Looks like Mesa did well. Just curious, if that heifer is wild, (I suspect no one owns it) can you not just slap your brand on it? What does the Sheriff's department do with it? Good video my Friend! You folks take care.

Haha, i.asked the same.question!
@1880cowboys11 ай бұрын
Hey!!! thanks for watching. I will try and answer that in next weeks video. Yes, according to range law, If she does not have a brand we could brand her and claim ownership. Now having said that, truly wild cows are no joke. They are wild animals that do not adjust to captivity (ie) being corralled or confined in any circumstances. They go absolutely crazy, and become incredibly dangerous. I will show you what I mean in next weeks video. They are not something you want in your herd. Take care

On a couple of the other ranch videos that I follow they brand/tag the long ears then keep them with their herd or sell them! Is it against the law to do that where you are? Thank you for another great video! Truly appreciate it🌟
@dalewadsworth570311 ай бұрын
I’ve wondered that. The terms they use I understand….=no ownership. To me that also means maverick = you brand him and it is now your brand. I’ve seen other videos also . I just want answer .

Why does the wild cow have to go to the Sheriff?
@1880cowboys11 ай бұрын
Hi, Thanks for watching. According to range law cows that do not have an owners mark on them (ie) a brand or ear mark, belong to the person who owns the grazing permit. So legally we could brand her and claim her. However, wild cows are not something we want in our herd. So we contact the Sheriff's office and they take possession of her. If she had no owners mark, they take her to the sale barn.
@gail849411 ай бұрын
You said that the white faced cow was going to the sheriffs office for inpound. Then what happens to her? Great video! Thanks
@1880cowboys11 ай бұрын
Hi, if she does not have a brand, or ear mark, they will take her to the local sale barn, where she will most likely become hamburger. Thanks for watching

I've camped about and below the Moki, made me nervous to just drive up and down it in my four wheel drive pickup, camn't imagine pulling a trailer load of cows up it.

What happens to the wild cows after you take it to the Sheriff's office? Why can't you keep it and brand it yourself?
@1880cowboys11 ай бұрын
Hi, thanks for watching. I will answer that question in next weeks video. It is a little complicated, but the bottom line is, Truly wild cows are not something we want in our herd. They are very difficult to handle and work with. They are also very dangerous anytime you get them in a confined space. They will also turn your domesticated cows wild. Thanks for your question, take care
@jessicawebb572511 ай бұрын
Thanks for taking time to answer! This is such a different lifestyle from my backwoods Kentucky life! So interesting . Love your videos, keep them coming!
