This is an example that shows the truth about vasectomy. They mention the risks but they talk about vasectomy how great it is and how the complications are so rare. This video and the comments prove the risks are real.

You’re right. Before my procedure, I read where it was So Rare, and yet there’s so many people I find who suffer from the hematoma complication. Choosing the right doctor is so important.

And I made a bad choice of doctor. On day 17 and no shrinkage of hematoma in sight.

Had the procedure on a Friday. I took 2 alieve twice. I iced every hour the first night, iced every few hours second day. No bruising, some uncomfortable swelling. Went to work on Monday. Stitches removed today after 7 days. Doc says back to business.

Thanks for this video. I have my procedure soon and it's really hard finding ppl who discuss the actual healing process and tricks to avoid discomfort. Much appreciated.

I’m glad I found this video. I had a vasectomy 9 days ago and have a large hematoma about the size dog a golf ball. Very painful. Everything you’ve talked about in this video, and previous one I’m going through. Hopefully in a couple days I feel better. I’m essentially bed ridden. It sucks!

Glad I found your video. I’m on day 7 after vasectomy and have a hematoma about the size of a large marble. It’s been such a slow progression but i can finally get up and do a few small things around the house even though it is still painful. This gives me hope that I’m on the other side of this thing and it will only be better from here

Did yours get larger? Mine started out the size of a marble and it’s much bigger now.

I'm day 8 after having major hematoma, about the size of an avocado. Pain started being almost unbearable at day 4 so went to the hospital and they gave antibiotics. Starting to feel a little better but pretty much 100% bedridden for now. Doctors say 2 months or so to heal up fully

Hello I am 7 days from my vasectomy and I have the exact same symptoms as how you described the hematoma in the last video. Excruciating pain. Do you recall if Vicodin was the only thing your doctor prescribed?

Day 17 post vas and golf ball sized hematoma remains. I’m going insane and my wife is about to leave me lol I’m ready to force the doctors to drain this thing. Absolutely ridiculous that this shit happens and all they tell you is to wait it out. When you can barely move and they tell you “yea a hematoma can happen. You just gotta wait it out. Maybe a week or two but could take a month or more” what the hell are you supposed to do about your job, family, life in general? I am pissed beyond belief about this and it’s really starting to fuck with my head.

@@Farfignewton29 I'm at week 8 and it's still there, but barely noticeable anymore. It was about week 4 before I was 'fit for duty' and week 5 before I felt like I didn't need pain meds. I found that like it didn't change for the first 2-3 weeks and then in started shrinking and it's like it starts slow but then really ramps up. Heating pads helped me a lot. For me it shrank then didn't change for a couple days, then shrank again. I hear ya. I don't feel lied to I feel underinformed, and you only ever hear about guys either having a week or less recovery or it's months and months of horror stories, nothing in the middle.

Im on day 15 and the hematoma has only shrunk, but still the size of a small kiwi. Still feel pain. Did you ejaculate at all while having the hematoma? How long before the hematoma completely went away?
@dogshoe214 жыл бұрын
I was afraid to ejaculate at first but when I convinced myself it would be ok cause it wasn't part of the injury, then I was fine and that didn't cause pain, but I took everything slow. All symptoms disappeared after 2 to 3 months, except every so often I get a sharp pain during intercourse and it goes away quickly, hardly anything to worry about. Pain meds and antibiotics were key to making it shrink, but dont rush it, it will go away in time, its scary though I completely understand. On the other side of this, I'm so glad I did this and it was totally worth it

dogshoe21 I am so glad I watched your video. For the past 15 days I’ve been endlessly researching and it makes things worst. Did you ever attempt to ejaculate while still having the hematoma? Like I said, I am in day 15 and the hematoma is still noticeable, hardened, and slightly painful. I am just afraid to ejaculate being that the testis enlarge and some retract. I appreciate your reply and feedback! Thanks for the extremely helpful video.

Good to know Iam on day 18 post vasectomy and still feel pain. How many days it take u to get back to normal ?
@dogshoe214 жыл бұрын
@@irvinvargas6826 I'd say "normal" was 2 months. Meaning no more pain with jumping, running, etc. It got progressively better but the hematoma REALLY made something supposedly simple and caused a lot more complications. I went in and had them test the sample and they said I was in the clear! No swimmers! That was exactly 2 months after the procedure and around 20 ejaculations during those 2 months.

How is the pain level now? ejaculate yet? Also, wouldn't the sperm test be more accurate if you did it at the doctor's office as any live sperm might die from the time you ejaculate at home and drive to the doctors which might give you an inaccurate test result? did they say if you're allowed to use lube, lotion, saliva, or even a partner's help for the test? i ask because i read saliva and/or lube can kill sperm which might give you an inaccurate test result. by the way, are you on instagram? i don't get youtube notifications on my phone
