Glad to see you're starting to get the parts in Grant, that adapter looks really well made. Down pipe doean't look like it will cause too much heartburn!

I really like the aw4 I've played with them for a long time they are a very stout transmission. There's an m8x1.00 plug on the side of the aw4 to test internal pressure if you need. There's a long discontinued testing tool with a banjo type connection, what I use is a 8mm banjo with a 4an male end then an adapter that screws onto the 4an and give me a 1/8npt thread for my gauge. You need to use a gauge that goes to 300psi. If that interests you. I've never used an aftermarket controller for one but I've always wanted to do a swap with an obd1 cherokee aw4 and build a simplified harness using the oem TCM and have the factory chrysler 2 diagnostic port for the transmission. The transmission on the obd1 cherokees runs a very separate system with its own diagnostic plug I have an old snapon mt2500 diagnostic tool that I use on mine. I'm sure a modern controller opens up more options for things though. I run a nifty shifter in my cherokee and we did some mild internal mods I'm also running a rad designs VX shifter. Then I'm also using a PML aluminum pan. If you have issues fitting the dipstick you may want to look at the PML pan you fill and drain from the pan and you get a little extra fluid. It helped me fit things in my heavily modified cherokee my dipstick was in the way.

Slick looking adapters. I hope that exhaust interference is the only issue you run into with the AW4 setup!
