Yes please show the process for making your boxes! Question, what thickness acrylic sheet do you use for your bottle molds? Also, would you think HDPE sheet would work as well as the acrylic in your bottle molds?

Maybe you could consider having the bottle sit on something, a layer of grain, maybe? Grass? I think it would give some nice contrast.

Love the bevel! I've been doing it lately and I was curious if you went through all the sanding/polishing process on the bevels themselves or do you pay less attention to them until the end? I notice the router gets them pretty nice so I only do a little polishing at the end. (Hope that question was worded properly) thanks as always for the videos!

Another good vid., always enjoy watching. Can we see it after the box is lined with felt? Love the box but I would have liked to be able to see through the front, if not clear, then a light translucence. The bevel edge is great, gives it a more refined finish. Love that desk, I missed what timber it was? Cheers,Michael.

@unclemoe5733
@unclemoe5733 3 жыл бұрын
It can be done. You would first have to coat it with a sealer such as Alumilite Clear Cast or a comparable to keep it from leaking air into the resin pour. Also to suspend it, it would require 2 pours. The first would have to partially cure to set it in place. Then the second to fill it. This process would likely leave a witness line from the 2 pours. So you could make the first pour a murky stained look such as a forest floor. This would make it look more natural.
