Little tip: it might be a good idea to subdivide the 2 acre-fenced area into smaller plots that can be moved and adjusted to your needs. Goats eat EVERYTHING and it might be good to he able to move the goats when you want to so they don't destroy all the vegetation in a certain spot. Plus, moving them around means they will be pooping in confined areas which will help the grass and vegetation grow. But you have to keep moving them so they don't eat the new grass.

I would sure hot wire the top for those climbers and the coyotes. Small net wire with One strand goucho wire on bottom stops the diggers, usually.

100% Goats will strip a small 2 acre paddock in a few weeks, unless you feed them grain and hay daily. And like Brandon said, use wire mesh for the fences, goats do not care about fences and will try get through them.

Personally, I'd go with a bigger faster monitor on the bottom to fill out the entire desk space. Then above the new bigger monitor, I would mount both of the other monitors side by side vertically. Give that massive computer the monitors it deserves, plus it will look ridiculously badass with all 3 of them on.

Matt, the whole point of goats are to clear some of the brush you're clearing. Tip: Top trees to about a foot & a half above the heads of adult goats. They'll be able to eat new growth at their level and new growth above will be able to grow and provide cover.

My opinion for the desk setup would be to get a 32-inch Ultrawide monitor for the bottom. Then put the current monitor on top. Mount them both on the wall to give you that extra space under the monitor if you need to push the keyboard in. Then you could route the HDMI cables through the sheetrock or if you don't want to cut holes you can just run them through a raceway. Lastly, I would highly recommend wireless peripherals. I have the Logitech G915 keyboard and Logitech G502 Lightspeed mouse. The response time compared to wired is so minuscule now that it doesn't make a difference. You can also get the wireless charging pad for the mouse so you never have to worry about charging it. It would give the whole setup a super clean look in my opinion.

Your OCD is right up there with mine. Everything you did with the desk is exactly how I was picturing it throughout the video. Even the charging station idea. I gotta have my charging station lol. Only thing different I would have done about hiding wires behind the desk is that I got a big poster board, cut it to size, and put it under my desk with velcro. There is usually some wood parts under the desk at the back that you can put the velcro on. The poster board hides everything behind the desk and gives it a nice clean look under the desk.

No UPS/Battery Backup/Surge Protection for your Xidax? Heck, I have my whole work @ home office setup on several UPS systems, one for the upstairs PC setup, and one for each audio/video system in the house. When I redo the electrical service here (including natural gas whole house backup generator), including solar panel w/ Teslas power wall and whole home surge protection . . .

For your speakers for the gaming setup there’s a really good oldie/goodie. Logitech X-540. If you can find one. They really perform and are very affordable. Sound way better than the cost would make you expect

@@warrenmichael918 you’d be amazed at what those goats can do to 2 acres. And do it quickly. When there’s nothing left on the ground they will actually climb up in the trees to get the foliage. It’s amazing how nimble and agile they are.

Look into wall mounts for your monitor(s). You might even be able to find some that are flexible enough that you could get two monitors side by side when pulled out, but they could also be attached vertically or double stacked. Lots of options for monitors these days. Hope you have a good strong fence planned for those goats. They are notorious for getting out of fenced areas. The office looks much better with the large computer on the wall desk instead of in the middle.

I can just see Mere in the room with Matt as he’s setting up the gaming desk…I was speaking out loud the entire time 🤣. “Matt….just cut the hole bigger so it looks cleaner!” “Matt…umm….the sun is shining right on everything.” I literally was saying these things out loud as they came out in the video.

Chainsaw safety guy checking in again. When wearing jeans, western boots and a western hat while chainsawing, how can you miss the chance to increase safety and wear chaps? Seems like a no-brainer. Serious note: there was one clip of left-handed operation. I'm a lefty, myself, but there are NO left-handed chainsaws. Never do this. Finally, ear pro. Just like shooting. smh Love your channels, just doing my part for a better Demolitia.

I'm not saying accidents can't happen, but I've been cutting logs and firewood for 40+ years, no serious accidents wearing what they're wearing or less. My step-father had 1 when sticker vines wrapped around his ankles. Had some deep scratches on his arm from the chain when he fell

20+ years of wearing chaps… did nothing except make me sweat a lot….. then one day I got hit by a limb and ran that chain across my upper leg…. Other than a bruise, the leg is fine. Can’t say the same for the chaps.

@@arkreb1968 I learned as an adult and took it seriously since I hadn't soaked in safety and good habits as a kid. I did make the lefty mistake and found out quickly why it's a very bad idea, but wearing chaps made it a painless lesson. So there ya go, some people have to serve as the bad example, lol. Chaps are really useful for bucking 8-foot logs into firewood lengths, since you cut so close to your own leg when doing this. Not so much like what the video shows, but then, I was giving fashion advice mostly. :)

Careful with wire ties for cable management. If you are bumping the cables over time they can dig through the shielding and short out cables.

On the grill, it looks like the switches/knob stems are too deep into the housing and the knob can't depress them far enough. There might be a jam nut or screws on the back side of the switch that has backed off and just needs to be tightened up or adjusted.

You need to get some 34" monitors with a VESA mount on the back, and then mount them to a double-headed stand by drilling through the desktop.Or if you don't want to do that, then just get a double-headed stand for your currently mismatched monitors.

MATT buy an m18 multi tool if you don’t have one already!! gets used more often than A LOT of my tools in construction & would make a process such as- making the hole in the back of the desk bigger, way easier! best tool for cutting with more precision & cleaner than a sawzall.

Wonder if the shelf you took out to fit the computer would span the gap between the desk towers? Then you could just screw that in between the towers and it would look nice since it’s matching, and give you a nice built in look while also providing a little extra shelf space. I have a feeling it’s a touch too short but worth a shot. Or a wall mount for a cleaner look would work as well. I know that computer is FULL of fans, but the only drawback I see to having it in the left tower vs the right tower is the sun beats in on it all day. Idk if your windows are treated to reduce UV rays and heat, but hopefully the direct sun for a good portion of the day won’t cause any long term issues. It looks great!!

Just an observation but the cedar root will be holding the soil down if it's rocky and steep and will in turn slow the water down as it runs. The mulching was a good idea if it doesn't wash away.
