Love the colors and music, gives a very different feel than Stardew which is a nice change of pace - and makes it feel less like a copy. I'm excited to help the developers..develop the game. So, I backed this not long after you brought it forward the first time. And even though I have only dived in a few times I have loved it. My biggest personal complaint is the text used by NPCs I have trouble reading it. Riding the pig is just utterly adorable, love that devs give regular updates to it, and are fairly in touch with the community being built around this game. I cannot wait for this game to be finished, though I imagine it will be quite some time.

the game has its own characteristics, the art is superb, I hope they solve the glitches and also added the zoom function.

There have been a host of glitches worked on as beta testers found them, they regularly patch the game with bug fixes at least once a week last I knew.

Wouldnt call this a clone. Its scope is fairly different, but generally when a genre is shown to be viable, yes, more games in the genre will be produced.

Stardew Valley is a spiritual successor to Harvest Moon. Farming Simulator is a whole genre. Being in a similar style and genre doesn't make it a clone. You could argue Stardew is a clone of Harvest Moon then.
