Why do we seek relationships? Why do we need them? What's the purpose? And how can we consciously utilize relationships to grow and evolve?

Some people think its wrong to live alone the most of a life span, but I've had enough in my 20's and 30's. Im really intent on weeding out wrong expectations and positions. To me its such an added heartache to bring children into the equation. So many more messed up souls.

Rock on, Susan S. I feel the same, and I'm 32. Looking for balance and peace, if it ain't both, I'm out! And good point on the children. There is no shortage of children in the world. Taiwan and Japan report low birth rates, not a problem if they accept their condition as a result of their priorities. Asians my age and older seem to think this is a problem but will they do something about their perceived problem? Hmm.

We are here to give from the flow of abundance, and we own no one

Teaching these vital concepts is How we make healthy adults earlier in age, perhaps even better modeling them often in ourselves so that the sharing is a real deal, especially those who are becoming awakening!! It will save them a lot of emotions from overloading!! It truly done when your in a relationship and all of a sudden your eyes become open then you become a self who’s changing to become responsible! My ex used to say a lot, “ why have you changed? It used to be so simple now it completely complicated!!!” Now I know why!!! I took my own responsibility in myself to be happy!

I cannot fathom the concept. I know why I love my husband and it is because I feel protected and looked after by him. I see this need as instinctual and I like it that way. Really trying to understand here.

Can you not provide that for yourself? Or could someone else possibly provide the same thing(s)? I do understand where you're coming from, I'm not judging you. Just asking you to understand. I feel similar about my husband but in general he just adds color & texture to my world. Could I live with out him? Sure, if I had to. But it's not a change I'd make voluntarily.

This is a brilliant talk! However I have to add that the "need" for sex and the "need" to balance the budget (money) fall outside this paradigm. These worldly "needs" cloud the spiritual impulse like a cosmic "spanner in the works." They cause gigantic problems like a cosmic joke of dark humour. Nearly all spiritual philosophy disregards these two issues.

I believe when one is fully tuned in to leading a more meaningful existence, then these two things will find a way of being sorted, and when one is no longer in a lack mindset this will cease to become that which is looking for attention

processing processing processing: trying to untangle the mess in my mind while I watch this video... how did I create this? and why? why why why? why oh why God why? what's the lesson? what must I unlearn? falling for a man: obsessed with health and fitness. and me? diabetic. fat. overweight: my whole life. he's vegan. I love meat. he's a fitness trainer. leisure walks are the only exercise I get. I have a bad back, I can't do much. fitness is far from my thing. for him: fitness is EVERYTHING. why would I do this to myself? why why why? fall for a man that would/could never: fall for me back?

You most likely fell for him because he is your shadow and most likely the thing your spirit, soul want the most as the body is our temple, without it there's no life. We tend to be attracted to people who embody something we want or need in terms of growth and leveling up our lives.
