Honestly your ADHD is what makes this fun to watch for me, and the drinks, you’re doing things I wish I’d do on my D16. And thank you for explaining all of us ADHD.

Hey Nate, A fellow painter here with 25yrs body shop experience. Your paint jobs would get less contaminates in them if don't have a fan blowing air across the part you are painting. That will only blow dust and oil onto your paint. You should only have the fans at the garage opening sucking the air out of the garage. Love the progress and how the paint job is turning out. There are no issues with your paint that can't be fixed with a good cut and buff. Even with my 25yrs experience I still learn new things to make my paint jobs better. Keep pushing and learning every paint job will get better and better.

Hey brother also wanted to mention to you that I’m 33 years old and I’ve struggled with ADHD my whole life as well. I can’t tell you how much I can relate to what you experience. I could hype my self up all week for on my days off I’m gonna work on my car and do a bunch of productive stuff and then when my days off come I’ll just watch KZbin all day and play disc golf lol. Ive been medicated off and on for ADHD for 10 years and I’ve had this issue since I was a little kid. I’m really proud of you for wanting to quit drinking. I hope you go far with it and it brings you exactly what you want In life. I’ve also struggled with depression for many years in my life it started in my early 20s and I’m just now getting ahold of it at 33. My depression led me to experiment with different drugs and then one day I dislocated my shoulder skateboarding at the skate park I got a script of Vicodins and I was hooked instantly. Within the 10 years that made up my 20s I gradually got super addicted to pain pills to the point where I needed several oxycoden just to get out of bed without withdrawals. I lost so many things I had worked hard for because I was constantly needing money to fuel my addiction all I wanted was just to be able to get out of bed and go to work. Some days I would spend $100 just on pain pills. It wasn’t until 31 my friend begged me to go seek professional help and I’ve been put on this medication called suboxone which is nothing like methadone a common medication they give opiate abusers. Suboxone does not get you high in anyway shape or form and it cuts all cravings and stops any withdrawals. I’ve been on it now almost two years and my life is completely different. I wanted to tell you this whole back story because the first 8 months into being sober from opiates I started having extreme depression and extreme anxiety and I was hiding it from ppl just like I hide my opaite addiction from everyone in my life. Finally I mentioned it to my substance abuse dr and she put me on a medication called Wellbutrin. I was so against taking any anti depression medications because I was scared of any damage it could do to me mentally from hearing bad stories from other ppls experience. I’m now 6 months into taking Wellbutrin and I’ve never been so happy and content before in my whole life. Come to find out that my manic depression was fueling into my adhd from having a huge lack of motivation. Wellbutrin has literally helped me dramatically with my adhd and my depression. It’s not like other depression medication that can produce a lot of negative side effects. This medication 90% of ppl who take experience no side effects at all. I’m sorry to pour out my life story to you but I only do so in hopes maybe it can help/give some perspective on things. Im just gonna tell ya, don’t be afraid to seek help because there is genuine drs out there who are passionate about helping ppl dealing with mental issues like us. Keep being you man! I would have never guessed you struggled with these things you always have a positive vibe going! 🤙🏽❤

Dude honestly I've struggled with the exact same problem, I start one job and end up doing 10 other jobs on completely different projects, I drank heavily for years and smoked loads of weed till I turned 30 and literally stopped because I was sick or everything, that only masked all my adhd and ocd and then I became really hard on myself for no reason like nothing I did was good enough so hats off to you for opening up, I enjoy your videos because I'm as random as you are so the mash up I can completely understand, you're a good dude and you make great content so what ever you put up is usually an easy watch and dont be so harsh on yourself buddy we are not here long so enjoy it regardless 👍👌

Hey!! I’m so glad to see your progress! You’ve been killing it! I worked on my EF hatch all day I’ve been battling cleaning my wheel wells someone lined them with roofing tar 🤦🏼♂️ it’s been a night mare to clean off so I can prep/paint/spray an undercoating. I’m rebuilding the whole suspension down to every last nut and bolt! Didn’t want fresh new suspension parts in crusty wheel wells lol

Bro, I know literally nothing about ADHD, but em (hehe :) ) - the way you talk, the way you describe the process - fast, concentrated, funny, positive, no pauses for "hmmm", "well" and so on, just a pleasure to listen. And remember who also had ADHD - Jesse from Fast'n'Furious, and remember his words? Brian: Man, you should be going to MIT or something? Jesse: Yeah right... I got that what is it called...that attention disorder... Brian: ADHD? Jesse: Yes... that... sh*t, anyway there is something about engines that calms me down, you know?

My EK has a flap that lets the air pressure out when you close the last door, and my flap is stuck somehow, I got it by noticing that the door is harder to close when all other doors are closed. But when the other door is opened, or a window is down - it closes smoothly. So what I wanna say - check your flaps (or vents, dunno how it's called, its located behind rear bumper in my car, somewhere near wheel) :)

Cars Looking great so far, makes me wish I would of kept my 90 CRX I had back in 2013. dumb me I ended up selling it to my cousin for next to nothing when he first got his license, Thought he was going to keep care of it but nope, drove the fuck out of it going across rivers a ditches with it and god knows what else till it blew up on him three years later. sadly it just went to the scrapyard after that.

Building cars takes time and money. Don’t let YT people push you to get it done. Work at your own pace. It’s not like you’re trying to live off YT. Depression is a sickness. You can’t just work your own way through it. You need a therapist and the right medications.
