Nice to know that someone who is as successful as Tom does the same thing! I also listen to something all night long. I started with books (and did the rewind thing until I finished the book). Now I listen to guided meditations all night. Sometimes when I wake up I restart a meditation. It helps me fall asleep faster and focus my mind so that my mind isn't thinking about a million things as I try to fall asleep.

Joyce, you are amazing! I loved watching your one on one with Mel today. I can see the success you already are. We let other people's words control our own thoughts way too often. I'm sure if you were helping one of your listeners experiencing exactly what you have been, you'd know exactly what to do! We often know how to take care of others, yet forget how to nurture and take care of ourselves!!!

I have a friend who complains all the time.. who is constantly negative..... who feels like if she just meets the right man to come and rescue her.. and it's everyone else's fault.... my advice to her which I'm not brave enough to tell her... is go out start a business,,,lawn business,,,or some business,,, well you're solving someone else's problem..... and then you'll be making money and you will never be pointing fingers or you'll be too busy ,,,to stew over theses other things.

I never understood how people can sleep at 68 °F (20 °C). my bedroom is always around 73.4 °F (23 °C) otherwise I'm freezing and will sometimes wake up feeling like I'm about to get sick. That's actually the worst for getting out of bed for me because, when I'm too cold, I want to stay buried in my blankets even more. I can't even get up to go to the bathroom when that happens and will try to wait until my bladder is about to explode lol I prefer to keep a fan in my bedroom, that I can control from my bed, so that if I start getting too warm and wake up in the middle of the night, I simply need to turn on the fan and fall back asleep. That way I always have the perfect temperature for me.

I’ll be honest the sleeping with audio book is concerning, especially as he say how much he struggles getting out of bed. It’s very likely it greatly effect the quality of his sleep and getting into deep sleep. And when he says he has to get up and change earbuds. Just think that’s an awful idea for good sleep. I think he should see a sleep specialist
