Luna is very angelic-looking----she looks like a horse from a fairy tale or something magical like that. She's such a lovely rescue. Blaze is so sweet too---going to be a gorgeous horse when all grown up.

Those Cosmic Crisp apples are great (light flavor, sweet and a firm-crisp texture). Definitely a Washington home grown apple. Here in Washington we also grow grapes, wheat, hops, onions, potatoes; all manner of fruits and vegetables.

It is unfortunate that the burr plants have not been removed in an area where horses will be spending time. Worse is that the burrs can be painful requiring manes and tails to loose their natural long beauty after being cut. Treat time of Apples for the family and animals on the farm!

So you have a registry for Quarter horses. Couldn’t a Registry Be set up for Reservation horses? A Wild Caught Registry for Mustangs like the BLM Branded horses? Maybe have the different Tribes use it as a means of selling their horses. Train the horses. Select them for conformation. DNA Test Them. Geld those you don’t want breeding select Stallions you do. Give them propers Navajo or Apache Names. Might be something to think about an income generator for the Tribes.

Have u been watching Alan's videos long? He gets malnourished horses from there. And yes there are breeds like the Nez Perce', the Nokota, & well known Appaloosa. They dont have the income to promote such projects. The reservation horses don't get fed right, don't get hoof care, don't get VET care, & don't get the stallions gelded. Hes already explained this numerous times. So how do u think they can organize & PAY FOR A REGISTER FEEs? It's not top priority for them. They like to breed, train & ride. Pay attention to what Alan says & why he rescues so many from that area.

The Navajo Nation is a sovereign nation like all reservations. It isn't a wealthy nation. If a member of the nation wanted to start a registry, they would have to get permission from the president and board. As someone mentioned, the reservation is overflowing with feral horses that people can't take care. People turn alot of their horses out on the reservation if they don't have a way to get them to auction. It's a tough situation for these horses, but thank goodness for good guys like Alan!
