Just so you know the reason the both of the kitties were up on the highest point of that cat condo is to stay warm. The ground is cold and heat rises. Cats hate cold and will always find the warmest place to chill. Oh...and I'm so happy for you all. The house looks amazing and you all deserve to enjoy living there after all that hard work. A long time ago, my cat used to sit in a spot just in front of the garage in winter. The snow would always melt first right at that spot. Smokey knew the warmest spot to bask in. 🐈😸

@@tvcat3665 ... back when I did plumbing and there was a problem with radiant heat in the floor, my first question to the customer was asking if they had a cat. If they said yes, the next question was if they recently found a new place to sleep on the floor. The warmest spot is the leak!

Pro painting tip: When priming; if you're priming an already white wall, have them tint your primer similar to, but not identical to your finish color. That way you can see where you've already painted, AND how good the coverage is. And since the primer is ALSO different enough from the finish color as to be noticable, you can see the same thing when you put up the final paint. 😉

We use cotton drop cloths. Bought them at Lowes many years ago. They absorb the paint, are reusable and won’t go to a landfill.

You will make less mess if you spend the money for the snap on spout for your paint cans. Especially for the 5 gallon can. My dad taught to punch a few holes in the receiving ring of the paint can so the paint drips back into the can and doesn't squirt out when you put the lid back on.

Little trick from "Tips from a shipwright". Take a nail and hammer it through the sealing rib on the paint can, the paint will seep back into the can and not down the side of the can,

This is just a side observation. When you are in the porch, office, sun room & look through the door to the rest of the house, it makes the house inside look so cozy & inviting. When you're standing in the living, kitchen area & look through the door to the sun room area, it makes that area look really warm & inviting! :o) It's all perfectly lovely!
