Funny thing is, that is EXACTLY how I would expect doja cat to talk about 4c hair. EXACTLY. If she’s decided it’s time to stop hating her black girl, 4c hair so much that is genuinely great. I may be mistaken but I don’t think Doja Cat has ever trashed 4C hair? And if it’s the fact that she’s always wearing weaves or protective hairstyles then you’re wrong? Someone wearing weaves or braids, etc doesn’t mean they hate their natural hair. If Doja Cat really hated 4C hair she would’ve never made a profile picture let alone an album picture of her 4C hair. I misread the title and thought that she was the one who was saying these comments and I was shocked because I’d never expect that from her.

I wouldn't say that makes it okay and yeah definitely doja cat was frustrated with her 4c hair, who isn't. The amount of time and money and effort trying to keep natural 4c is a lot, at times I just want to shave my head, it's a common thing. Sometimes you wake up and you're too tired to comb out your hair cuz your arms are tired. It'sa drag to say that she should keep the same energy cuz we all know that at one point in our lives we all had that thought of having white hair, but people wanted to act brand new when doja cat said it for some reason and played it off as self hate and stuff like that
