Well done 👍 good analysis. BoT iendelee kununua Dhahabu(Gold reserve) kwa wingi iliiweze ku hedge against the Dollar.

Here are some additional points to consider: - Tanzania's government has implemented policies aimed at increasing local ownership and control in key sectors, which can limit foreign investment and affect access to US dollars. - Uganda, on the other hand, has pursued a more liberal economic approach, encouraging foreign investment and trade. - Kenya has invested heavily in its financial sector, making it a regional hub for banking and investment. - Corruption and bureaucratic red tape can also affect the ease of doing business in each country, with Tanzania and Uganda facing more challenges in this regard. - Additionally, the three countries have different economic priorities, with Tanzania focusing on industrialization, Uganda on agriculture and oil, and Kenya on technology and innovation. These factors all contribute to the different business environments and access to foreign currency in each country. Your research is shedding light on these important differences!

Tanzania has stricter financial controls and more regulations governing business compared to Uganda and Kenya, which can make it harder for businesses to operate and attract foreign investment. This can lead to a shortage of US dollars in the country, making it harder for businesses to import goods and services. Here are some key differences in the business environments of the three countries: - Tanzania: Stricter regulations, higher taxes, and more bureaucratic hurdles. - Uganda: More business-friendly environment, with fewer regulations and lower taxes. - Kenya: Known for its entrepreneurial spirit, with a more developed financial sector and stronger investor protections. These differences can affect the ease of doing business, access to foreign currency, and overall economic growth. Your research highlights the challenges Tanzania faces in attracting foreign investment and maintaining a stable supply of foreign currency. Keep up the good work with your research!
